Ex-Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin launched her political action fund, Sarah PAC, in 2009 with the stated purpose "to help elect principled conservative leaders" across the country. But the latest Federal Election Commission filing indicates that money raised in small contributions by Sarah PAC is going to consultants, speech-writing services, direct-mail appeals, as well as stays by Palin in fancy hotels.
Sarah PAC raised $950,000 in 2015, spent a total of $1.4 million, and donated just 23,500 to 45 campaigns. It also...

Sometimes people are like puppies. Their eyes open over time.
Now she can get a discounted rate at a Trump property...
Take a good damn hard look at your thread. You happy to throw red meat and watch the hyenas score ?
Somebody needs to quit pretending. :)
Every time I try to toss out the “I’ve been here longer so....” line, some class of 97 Freeper kicks my ass and calls me a noob.
:)
Honest, we will all be FRiends again. You should have been there for the epic flame wars between OneWhoKnows and TheRepublican..sigh...those were the days.
Well, I checked the Astoria’s website. It’s not even rated as an “elite” sort of Hotel. Still, if Palin was there for a few days and got a suite suitable for meeting people and such, bought dinners for her staff or other SNL people (simple manners), etc., yeah, that’s not actually unreasonable.
Stuff is pretty expensive in Lib Heaven / The Big Apple...
I never pretend. I still think you need a nap :) Anyway, you have a good night. I really mean that.
The ugly truth is that so many here still fall for the St. Sarah of Wasilla bit. She’s become just another grifter that is using her 15 minutes of fame to its’ maximum potential. Between the tramp daughter and the endless PR appearances, she needs to get off the stage and get back to doing something actually productive.
Well I was speaking to you.
“Sarah PAC raised $950,000 in 2015, spent a total of $1.4 million, and donated just 23,500 to 45 campaigns.”
Sounds like a full accounting is in order. I doubt stays at the Waldorf Astoria are what the SarahPAC donors had in mind.
“Sheâs become just another grifter that is using her 15 minutes of fame to itsâ maximum potential. “
She was an asset to conservatism in the beginning. I remember being grateful to have somebody like her fighting for conservatism.
Now, she is nothing but a liability to the same movement she helped defend. Time to flush her like a discarded tissue. Nothing good can come out of her now.

Sorry for all the Bookmark Pings, Posting on the Go again. Never thought February would be so busy for me or Sarah.
Flame War here so tread lightly Sarah's Awesome List.
I Should be back on a Desktop soon.
*crickets* (gunshots from the direction of Ft. Marcy Park)
"The public will never believe the Clintons are innocent..."
No indication that Sarah did anything immoral.
Spending as an independent entity is far easier, and in many ways, more effective, than giving to campaigns.
This article is trying to make something of nothing.
Embrace the hate. Where did all these sorry trolls come from? Hate Trump, hate Palin, Hate Cruze; Lord have mercy.
Grifter Palin is now her own punchline.
It was no snub. Sarah actually likes Senator Cruz and said that he would be better doing what he does in the Senate. Therefore, she endorsed The Donald because he opposes the “GOP majorities handing over a blank check to fund Obamacare and Planned Parenthood and illegal immigration that competes for your jobs and turning safety nets into hammocks. And all these new Democrat voters that are going to be coming on over our border as we keep the borders open, and bequeathing our children millions in new debt, and refusing to fight back for our solvency and our sovereignty, even though that’s why we elected them and sent them as a majority to D.C. No! If they’re not willing to do that, then how are they to tell us that we’re not conservative enough in order to be able to make these changes in America that we know need to be made.”
I bet you didn't see Sarah's endorsement of Trump speech. Believe me, when she hit that home run ball out of the park, she was being productive.
Remember this: Trump and Cruz are actually friends, and would make a great ticket:
"I think Donald Trump is bringing a bold, brash voice to this Presidential race," Cruz said. "One of the reasons you're seeing so many 2016 candidates go out of their way to smack Donald Trump is they don't like a politician that speaks directly about the challenges of illegal immigration."
"He's he's willing to speak the truth. And he's taking on the Washington cartel," Cruz said.
"I for one, am grateful that Donald Trump is highlighting these issues. They are critical issues. They're issues I've been fighting for a lot of years to enforce the law, to stop illegal immigration, to stop the Obama Administration's practice of releasing criminal illegal aliens into the population."
"An awful lot of Republican candidates in the presidential field have gone out of their way to smack Donald Trump with a stick. I think that's wrong, I think that's foolish, I think that doesn't make sense," Cruz said. "It's not only that I refuse to do so, but I have been very consistent in praising Donald Trump and praising the people that are coming out to see him."
Well said! It is incredible the lack of understanding supporters of Cruz have been towards Sarah Palin. If Cruz saw how nasty they have been in this thread to his friend, Sarah, he would be embarrassed to have such supporters.
I think we all should turn down the needle in our vitriol. We need more positive comments in support of our favored candidate.
Not to mention the flame wars between Pissant and anyone else who backed Palin.
