'I don't think so, darling': Donald Trump dismisses woman defending illegal immigration
Colin Campbell

Donald Trump held a town-hall-style event on Thursday, and his first question was from a woman who appeared to criticize his hard-line approach to illegal immigration.
The woman began by saying she was from Southern California.
"You live in Southern California? What are you doing here? Are you a liberal Democrat, by any chance?" Trump joked at the Exeter, New Hampshire, event.
She continued by saying she had friends who immigrated to the US illegally.
..snip...
Trump responded by accusing her of asking the question on behalf of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont), a left-wing Democratic candidate.
"Who told you to be here? Bernie?" he asked her. "No, no, this is a Bernie plant. This is a Bernie plant. All right, OK, I understand your question."
The questioner no longer had her mic after that, but the same woman reportedly then yelled at Trump that immigrants were part of the backbone of the US.
"I don't think so, darling," Trump shot back. "I don't think so. I don't think so. No, I don't think so. They're not the backbone."

"Probably" indicates that you are just making a generalization without any facts.............
Nice Try...............
With that being said, I could also make the adhominem comment that a poster named "bramps" PROBABLY is a democrat troll sent here from DU.........
Lol. And the stock reply to our recent zot that was not.
Hardly an open-and-shut case, then?
Keep digging. Eventually you’ll find an acorn.
Does your mommy ever let you out of the house? Do you ever pass by or go to virtually any place of employment, be it a hotel, a restaurant (especially fast food), or a construction site?
I currently support Trump, wiseass. I also know reality and know the questions will get asked and am curious what his actual plan is. Take the simple example of this story from one of his hotels. Even a simpleton like you, if given a month or so, could pose a challenging question to Trump based on a story like this. And there are many more.
According to the Post, the majority of the workers on the site of the future Trump International Hotel in D.C. are Hispanic, many of whom entered the country illegally.
According to stonemason Ivan Arellano, who is from Mexico and now is legally in America through marriage, Trumpâs comments have dominated discussion around the construction site.
âThe majority of us are Hispanics, many who came illegally. And weâre all here working very hard to build a better life for our families,â Arellano told the Washington Post.
Rubio would have given her a hug, and she will vote for Rubio!
Phyllis Schlafly: Disqualify Marco Rubio for Lying About Amnesty in Spanish

Phyllis Schlafly, architect of the modern conservative movement and tireless opponent of mass immigration, says GOP hopeful Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)79% should be disqualified from the race for dishonestly saying one thing about amnesty in English and another in Spanish.
“If Jeb’s candidacy falters despite the $114 million he raised, the establishment’s next choices, Sen. Marco Rubio and Ohio Gov. John Kasich, have basically similar views,” she wrote in her Monday World Net Daily column:
Kasich said the 12 million illegals should be “legalized once we find out who they are,” and Rubio said Obama’s executive amnesty “can’t be terminated because there are already people benefiting from it.”
Rubio’s statement was made in Spanish on the Spanish-language network Univision, which is reason enough to eliminate him from serious consideration. When somebody is running for president of the United States, why should we have to get somebody to translate his remarks into English?
Why indeed? Bilingualism has corroded political discourse rather than strengthened it. Lying in a different language is a becoming bipartisan pastime. Democratic Rep. Luis GutiÃÆ (c)rrez mocked Kathryn Steinle’s death during a Spanish Telemundo interview, calling it a “little thing.” Steinle was allegedly murdered by an illegal alien. Gutierrez exploded with rage when an expert immigration witness calmly called him out during a congressional hearing.
No she doesn't and she's always criticizing me for using the internet to converse with morons who live in their own basements.........Go figure!
And when all your arguments fail, lets start with these:
wiseass.
a simpleton like you
According to the Post
According to stonemason Ivan Arellano, who is from Mexico and now is legally in America through marriage
Just curious, does Donald Trump know Ivan Arellano personally? That's what you're implying..........
The point is that we either have a country or we do not have a country. Is there anyone who cares about the immigrants who came here legally? Certainly there are zero Democrats!
Talking about exactly how deported illegals will be able to return is way too early to discuss. A meaningful and substantive answer will come in its time.
The point is that they have broken our laws to jump the line. They have to go back and return as legal immigrants. Why do so many Democrats and Republicans want to ignore the fact that our laws were broken? What is their motivation to flout our laws? Are they on the dole? Do we have a country or not?
CHECK
What we lack in scenery and ambiance, we make up in traffic and mosquitoes. Plus in August we throw in heat and humidity - you missed out by being here during January.
You’re preaching to the choir. That is why I’d like an explanation when Trump says the ‘good’ ones can come back in an expedited fashion.
Yes, it is true that we do not know what Trump means when he says "expedited."
His competitors will say that expedited means a turnstile and thus amnesty.
I think that it means that we will define a process maybe with categories and a timetable for return to this country. It will not be simple because it is not a simple demographic, people, families, jobs, businesses, relatives, time in country, how well rooted in the community, etc.
In the end all will be happier that we actually have a country of laws.
This is why I love Donald Trump.
This is why his supporters are so committed to him.
Nothing will stop me from voting for him.
Broken glass,
crawling over it....
THIS is what makes Trump strong. This is why he was so popular back in November. Brave patriotism getting ‘in their face’.
Why I changed tagline for today ...
When does Trump win big?
When he goes after anti-patriotism.
Congress.
Obama.
Europe.
Hillary [if he does not mind taking her out early].
No one can out-Trump Trump’s patriotic feistiness.
What I like about Trump. Three things ...
1. He unites patriots. Doesn’t matter how uninformed a voter is, a low-info patriot gravitates toward Trump during moments like this. In a couple years, those low-info patriots would transform into informed patriots. His popularity [if he goes back to his November campaign style] would also make him powerful on the bully pulpit, especially when he combines that with ‘Art of the Deal’.
2. Executive experience. There is only one president in US history who walked into the White House with more executive experience than Trump. That was Ike, commander of the Allies in Europe. Some might say Washington had more exec experience than Trump. Arguably true. Just one or arguably two.
3. Trump’s Art of the Deal is exactly what we need in trade talks and getting international corporations to return here to the US. For example ... Obama’s oil tax idea, $10 per barrel. Trump would instead use that concept as leverage to get lower tariffs of US exports to oil exporting nations.
He would also threaten to carpet bomb Iran’s oil because the world doesn’t need Iran’s oil any more. Iran would need to dance to his tune or get taken out completely.
