On Wednesday, Karl Rove, not a Trump fan by any means, explained how the cheating could have cost Donald Trump the election in Iowa.
Wow!
This is a stunning indictment of the Cruz Campaign's cheating scandal.

“Well, we certainly do know cruz is. Hell, he’s even sleazier then he is creepy, and that is saying something. “
You don’t understand St. Cruz-
He prays!
And he’s Christian!
And he thumps his Bible really loud! So, he gets a pass for his sleaziness.
The people who did vote for Carson should be angry at him for taking at least three days off at a critical point of the campaign right before the New Hampshire primary.
Then the reason he gives for not campaigning for several days is he need to get a change of clothes! In a sense, Carson is cheating his supporters who voted for him or donated money to his campaign in good faith.
The only reason Trump is crying about this is because he's a sore loser. He can't discuss the issues in depth so he resorts to childish whining to distract the voters.
Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
The ethanol subsidy is nothing beside the trade deal he gave Obama and the okay for the Senate to give up its power of modifying or amending the “DEAL” Obama and Kerry struck giving Iran everything they wanted along with our sovereignty. The ethanol deal is peanuts compared to the immigration problem and the 19 TRILLION we are in debt. Learn about the REAL issues in this election. Ethanol is NOT one of them.
Trump would have us believe masses of voters just took it all at face value and migrated straight to Cruz. What does that say about Trumpââ¬â¢s opinion of voters?
I don't have regard for Rove. He made two salient points. One that when Cruz said they sent along the missive to his staff, he didn't mean his campaign team, he meant the caucus chairs in Iowa. The second point was with 1590 precincts in IA, if that caused only 4 people to change their vote per precinct, that was Trump's gap right there.
I don't personally believe that. But I do feel a caucus chairman holds a lot of sway in a precinct while a caucus is going on. When Candy Carson showed up at one caucus, the Carson team leader ran to her, gave her the news, and she spoke for a bit and said it was a total lie.
Finally, the first tweet about all this was from Cruz' campaign by Gabriel, his PR director, who then tried to blame it on the Trump campaign. He deleted the tweets later into the night... this is what is really being hidden by the campaign:
>
whole lotta sleeze goin on ...
I know we do, it’s called Medicaid.
Apparently Trump doesn’t know it, go yell at him.
No, people are SICK of Teddy’s DIRTY TRICKS!
Iowa Caucuses started at 7:00 pm CT, 8:00 pm ET.
ohhhh....tweeting the news is now a scandal!!!
hey karl rove still thinks romney won Ohio!!!
Good post. This was a preplanned action. There are a couple other threads about Gabriel’s connections.
Rove is loving this controversy because if he can keep it going he can tarnish Cruz and make Trump look like a sore loser at the same time. So, of course he is going to try to make a mountain out of this molehill because he thinks that will help Rubio and Jeb.
He knows about that; however obviously you don’t know about hospitals taking care of people who do NOT even have Medicaid.
It was not cheating or lying.
It would be wrong not to report the news about Carson going back to Florida or NH.
Rest assured that if Cruz said he was leaving Iowa early and going back to Texas and not going to NH and SC you and the other Trumpeters would have eagerly disseminated the interpretation that Cruz was out.
That is what happened as a result of Carson’s inept communication about what he was doing that night and in the week to follow.
The idea that Carson’s late response around 8 somehow achieves an internet blackout on the idea that he is quitting is your LIE about this matter.
No.
I frankly still do not believe that Carson is trying to maintain a serious campaign in either NH or SC. I think that is rather evident.
It is outrageous that the Trumpeters here at FR disseminate all kinds of hogwash about opposing candidates and yet the most reasonable inferences about why Carson will not go to NH or SC are deemed outrageous frauds and deceptions.
There is a lot of lying going on here— false allegations against the conservative and successful Cruz campaign.
I find the Cruz supporters attack the messenger defense very Clintonesque.
Who will be next?!
It's so clear, any idiot, even an Iowa voter, could see that.
It just had to be cheating, of some form. Carson blew it, big time. he just had to run to FLA to change his shorts. No sleeping on the bus trip to NH. Nope. No all night laundromat. Nope. When a candidate telegraphs the impression he's going home for clean socks, he's saying he's tired and not up to the rigors of campaigning. The politically astute saw that and ran with it. The Donald got bested in a deal. The art of the deal was played like a grade school class president campaign.
Pull up your panties, Donald.
