The Cruz team tweet was 34 seconds after the CNN report. I think there is a lot more to this story than we know:

RE: The Cruz team tweet was 34 seconds after the CNN report
Also, Interestingly, Carson was at 7.7 in the final average of polls at real clear politics. Trump was at 28.6
Trump ended the night with 24% and Carson ended up with 9%. So Carson ended “betterâ than his final poll numbers.
Trump is not alleging that Trump’s own numbers were affected by Cruz campaign “dirty tricksâ. Trump ended the night 4.5 down from his last polling numbers.
Here’s what really needs to be done.... ( this from me, a Cruz supporter ):
What needs to happen though is Ben Carson filing a formal complaint with the FEC and then finding a few people who actually changed their vote to Cruz based on the false information put out by the Cruz camp about Carson leaving the race. Then you have a legitimate case against Cruz.

Sounds like a very efficient social media organization Cruz has working for him.
hearing a Breitbart story will be out soon...apparently unfavorable to Cruz. Will come out via @Libertarianblue
The first CNN tweet I saw was 4:43 pm.
“Carson won’t go to NH/SC, but instead will head home to Florida for some R&R. He’ll be in DC Thursday for the National Prayer Breakfast.”

Where do you have a link for the Cruz tweet?

Wow! that link says that Cruz committed a Class D felony.
Your reply to this post was about a minute 40.
Conspiracy theorists think you are a paid lackey for Hillary.
Well looks like George Soros is connected to Cruz’s staff Dan Gabriel. If this is the case, then Ted must remove Dan from his campaign staff if he does not then that in itself is very telling.
If this was an honest mistake, WHEN did they realize it and did they have a meeting and decide not to correct the lie?
No. The tweet purportedly from the Cruz campaign came 33 seconds before 7pm, Iowa time. The screenshot of the CNN clip which showed on that tweet showed a 6:43 timestamp. CNN ran their story 17 minutes before 7pm and the purported Cruz tweet was at 33 seconds before 7pm. So it was about a 16-minute lapse.
Depending on how and when the Carson camp distributed their walk-back from what they had told CNN (that Carson wouldn’t be going to NH or SC) and whether the Cruz campaign actually saw or heard those walkbacks, Rove’s story could be all washed up. The Cruz campaign characterized the time they knew of CArson’s walkback as “later then evening” (presumably a type for “later in the evening”. But Rove claims that the CArson walkback was at 6:53. Nobody shows any documentation for the timeframe and nobody has mentioned how the walkback was distributed, or when CNN aired a correction.
