The Obama administration has laughed off Donald Trump's idea to put a $100 million ballroom in the White House to entertain the leaders of China and other countries.
White House press secretary Josh Earnest confirmed reports that Trump offered to build the lavish space, a proposal he characterized as "not something that was at all seriously considered."
"I'm not sure that it would be appropriate to have a shiny gold Trump sign...on any part of the White House," Earnest joked.
Earnest indicated it was his assumption that the offer would include a "shiny gold Trump sign" because "that's what most of the buildings that he offers to build include." Still, he acknowledged that it was "unclear" how Trump envisioned that the ballroom would have been marketed.

He should build it and let Ivana, his first wife, design and decorate it. She did a wonderful job with the trump Tower, Plaza, etc. That would never happen in reality, but she really could do a great job.
I am wondering where the ballroom would be placed. The one they have that they use now is not very large and it has a limited seating capacity.

I would hope that “President Trump” would heed the words as expressed by the Constitutional Party. It would greatly help in Making America Great again:

Actually, with all the Progressive and Hollywood creatures partying it up at taxpayer’s expense at the White House, the WH Paid Liar shouldn’t laugh it off.
Future generations will refer to it as the Trump Ballroom. Donald will love that.
Money spent on Mooch’s daily make up and weaves - STARTING AT $1500 PER DAY NOT COUNTING WHAT IT COST FOR THOSE KIDS OF HERS - could have gone a long way.

Would prefer a ballroom in the White House over a kenyan in the White House.
I can’t imagine that if Trump is elected and puts in the ballroom, it will have a Trump sign anywhere. However, I think 100 years or so from that time, a 150-year-old Trump sign will be donated perhaps by Trump’s great-grandchildren or the owner of an old Trump building, and it will be placed in the ballroom.

That’s been the offer... Trump saw our large State Dinners given on the lawn under old tents... and offered to build a ballroom for free... Obama turned him down.
Well he has offered to solve an “in-tents” problem.
