Cruz is a citizen of N. America!

Or might as well be at this point, because goodness knows no one can agree if he is a citizen of the U.S., Canada or Cuba....or all three!

Many Cubans of his fathers generation held the life long hope of taking back and returning to their homeland that was stolen from them. Sort of a cheap shot.

These are not all Latinos. Read the article (I had to excerpt for FR): GOP Latinos

How can Trump be right about Hispanic voters? Why is this dude always right? What is his problem?

Trump needs to model himself after career politicians. In other words Lie, Obfuscate, say one thing in front of Goldman Sachs crowd in NY, opposite in Iowa.

I am not sure I can handle honest candidates after 30 years of being fooled again and again. I am now so used to being fooled, I am addicted! I want more foolery! Honesty is giving me withdrawal symptoms!

About 20%, with about 67% D, and 13% I, so I think you can figure most of the “Is” would probably vote Trump. In other words, best-case, if NO Ds switch to vote for Trump, he could draw 30% nationally. That would be YUGE.

Why?

Jobs and strength.

The girly men in Europe are letting their women get raped and groped.

A man steps up for women, even those not of his own family.

“Latinos traditionally like nationalist and socialist strong men, just sayin.”

That’s what I see going on here as well.

BTW, if the 30% held up, it would be what McLame got and more than Romney got. Since the GOP doesn’t NEED big Hispanic turnout, this would be critical vs. Hillary.

Bush got 40 vs. Kerry. I don’t think that’s out of reach for The Donald.

I know something of the Latinos who live in Iowa. They come there for jobs in the meat packing plants, send money back home to Mexico, and bring their families up when they can, mostly legally. But they pay taxes, buy cars, pay rent, support local businesses and start their own, and generally behave themselves. I’ve seen some midwestern farm towns completely transformed to where they now have 30% or more Hispanic population yet they are nice communities with no more problems than anywhere else. The point being: these Hispanics are no different than the Europeans many of us are descended from were 100 years or more ago, they came here for a better life not because we had better welfare. I think they would respond to Trump’s message as those who did it right are at risk from those who come here illegally and for sinister reasons.

Because if they aren’t Ds and they are Hispanics, they are closet Rs.

So you are saying America was not his fathers first loyalty. It was just a place to lay his head until he could return to a foreign country. He just used America for 40 years. He could just as well lived in Canada or Mexico, anywhere that provided him a good life. It just so happened America provided the best place to make a living. Gotcha.

Proving my point: West Liberty Iowas, a small town with a big (formerly Louis Rich) turkey packing plant, and the first town in Iowa to achiave > 50% minority status. Yet take a look, it’s growing and has nice amenities:
