I would have Cruz be attorney general or solicitor general IF we maintain control of the Senate. I wouldn’t remove any senator until I was certain I could maintain that seat.

Anybody sending me something telling me it’s a violation to NOT vote is not worthy of consideration for my vote. And I don’t want a good portion of our neighbors to vote.

Did you forget that Trump is bosom buddies with Pelosi, Reid, Schumer and Kerry? Gives us hope for a bright (socialist) future! When everything is in flames under Trump and his progressive pals, the fire will burn very brightly.

The media is probably stumped as to whether they should expose Cruz on this incident as they don’t want to have too many Cruz supporters move over to Trump. The media is still hell bent on “Dumping Trump” and dumping on Cruz will not help that movement.

You’re probably right... which gives Cruz a license to kill. Even DT hasn’t brought it up.

“Even DT hasn’t brought it up.”

Democrats; haven't located a Republican candidate who's done it, at least in not such a negative way.

Putting “VOTER VIOLATION” on the envelope is way over the top.

Remember when Glen Beck warned us about the tactics of the Commies? I do. I remember him saying “Nudge, Push, Shove”.

At the very least, this qualifies as “Nudge”.

Oh yeah, this qualifies as a Nudge. It is what the progressives do...Oh it may help get a few shamed Iowans into going to vote, but I think it has horrified many more people. This, plus his FaceBook data base stuff is just so much like Obama....Do whatever it takes to WIN at all costs.

As a Christian I believe how you run the race is more important than if you win, and in addition to pulling this stunt, I am really surprised and disappointed that he did not apologize to the voters he offended. Shows a certain arrogance that is very familiar and troubling to me.

Do you think the fact that this creepy flyer was sent out by the GOP in 2014 justifies Cruz’s actions?

This is an update with the Cruz quotes from the Des Moines Register.

http://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/elections/presidential/caucus/2016/01/30/iowa-secretary-state-calls-cruz-mailers-misleading/79522560/

Cruz, who has often joked that mailers “make good kindling,” later told reporters that he would not apologize for his campaign’s efforts to bring out caucusgoers.

“I will apologize to nobody for using every tool we can to encourage Iowa voters to come out and vote … Iowa, as first in the nation, has an incredibly important role in deciding who the next commander-in-chief of this country will be. We are going to continue to use every tool we can to encourage the men and woman of Iowa to come out, to caucus on Monday night and to stand together as one,” Cruz said in Sioux City.

It is his attitude that I find so disturbing—basically he doesn’t care what he has to do to get elected...long as it is not illegal, too bad.

Take note Cruz supporters: the campaign that most likely broke this story is the RUBIO campaign.

Go back to the original article and notice the political consultant interviewed for the story was..Rick Wilson.

You know who Rick Wilson is...http://time.com/4106999/marco-rubio-super-pac-john-jordan-winery/

Just like to keep the players straight.

Agreed, absolutely. I think the whole thing was atrocious, personally. If I had received one, I would be voting for the other guy! Much nicer ways to get out the vote than that; Trump's letter was very classy. But those excusing it by saying ‘other campaigns have done it!’, and those campaigns were Democrats, is not exactly the kind of justification I would want to see in the race. However, we are talking about ‘Me too Ted’ so it's understandable.

1. That was a PARTY trying to get votes to go out and vote, not a candidate.

2. Saying ‘the RNC did it so we can do it too’ is not likely to go over well with voters who are rejecting the GOPe.
