If Luntz were accurate that would mean that Bloomberg would be a Dem stalking horse for Trump and a certainty the Trump would be elected.

They're making spin up so fast these days that they don't even think it through.

They have tried everything else.

Luntz should be checked for indecency. This probably arouses him.

3 out of 10 people vote for Bloomberg? Most people outside of NYC don't even know who he is.

That was my first thought, but then I figured most of them are just choosing they don't know because they don't like the other choices.

Absurd. The hyper-entitled Bloomberg would be a snoozefest when- and wherever he’d speak. Ben Carson would look unbearably exciting next to Bloomberg.

“Most people outside of NYC don’t even know who he is.”

Yeah, I was going to say, where did he poll, the Upper East Side of Manhattan?

“I wonder what his stance is on gun control?”

And 32 ounce sodas? The political ads write themselves!

Who in their right minds would believe that Bloomberg could get 10 per cent more than Ross Perot’s 19?

I don’t believe that 62% of Americans would vote for gun confiscation.

No, I think Bloomberg would win. He’ll run as an independent but he has things that can appeal to both Dems and Republicans if they don’t like their own candidates.

He was competent as mayor in some ways, but he’s a real nanny stater and believes in a very intrusive government, although without going quite as far as Bernie the Socialist, who will probably be the Dem candidate.

Maintain my two cent opinion since 2012 that Hillary will NOT be the Rat candidate.

Had this exact debate with a lib friend yesterday. He said Bloomberg is a Republican. I said, “sure. here in NYC which is a liberal to the rest of the country.”

Their public faces are very different but i’d agree they are very much alike. Of course i have the advantage of living here in NYC.

He is a control freak for sure. Perfectly sums him up. I will say however being mayor of a megalopolis like NYC or LA is probably great training to deal with the administrative side of being President. As much as any possible spot including governor. I despise him for his pettiness.

Yes he would but who’s making what up? He stated the conditions in which he would run. I can tell you from living here in NYC Bloomberg has no idea he’s seen as a liberal (for the most part, not fiscally.) Thats why he would enter the race. He thinks he takes more votes from Trump, not Hillary. He couldn’t be more wrong.

California and (for instance) North Dakota each get the same number of votes if a presidential election goes to the House. It’s not done proportionally.

Bloomberg has zero chance. He’s a big time gun grabber and that eliminates him from 40% of the population immediately.

Bloomberg bought New York City with a lot of money. His act won’t play in a national election.

And that includes liberals. I know many liberals who are pro-gun.

That, BTW, is why gun legislation stalls. There are as many of them (as pro-gunners) as there are of us (as pro-gunners).
