RUSH: This is unbelievable. Ladies and gentlemen, apparently the movie 13 Hours is being written about as a flop at the box office, and I'm being blamed for this. Cookie just sent the audio sound bite. This on KTTV Good Day LA in Los Angeles. The guest is the editor of Rotten Tomatoes, which... What is that? That's a rating website where people, individuals can rate movies and TV shows. The guy's name is Matt Atchity. He's the editor-in-chief. They talk about the movie 13 Hours, the Benghazi movie, and the KTTV Eyewitness News co-host Steve Edwards and the Rotten Tomatoes editor-in-chief have this exchange...
EDWARDS: The movie 13 Hours -- which filmmakers hoped would be like Sniper -- a lot of conservative radio station hosts, et cetera, were getting behind this movie. It didn't drive the box office?
ATCHITY: It didn't. Not really. It did okay, but not the way --
ARAKSYA KARAPETYAN: Sniper, yeah.
ATCHITY: -- Rush Limbaugh would have you believe, right?
EDWARDS: Uh-huh.
ATCHITY: Like, everybody wanted to turn this in to show what the Americans want to see and, you know, "Let's do a conservative movie."

RUSH: So this guy says 13 Hours... You might not have heard it because of the cross-talk. He said, "Rush Limbaugh would have you believe, right? Like, everybody wanted to turn this show into what the Americans wanted to see, and, you know, "Let's do a conservative movie." He's trying to say that I was one of the big promoters of the movie and I'm so out of touch. The American people don't care to go watch a "conservative" movie about Benghazi and this proves it. There's only one problem.
I haven't seen it, and I haven't said two words about it, one way or the other. I have not seen the movie. If you want to know the truth, Paramount... This is the weirdest thing; it's never happened before. Paramount offered a DVD closed-captioning screener. I have to have that, or I can't hear dialogue. A week later, it hadn't arrived. So we checked and we were told, "No, Paramount has withdrawn the offer.
"They don't want to send the DVD. They're worried about piracy and so forth." So I never got the DVD. I never saw this. I haven't said one word about it because I haven't seen it. Well, I may have commented on whatever other people have said. I have not seen this thing to review it, promote it, diddly-squat. If I had seen it and promoted and liked it, there might be a little different story out there. But I haven't seen it.

RUSH: I think that movie's on 3,000 screens now. 13 Hours, just got added to 528 theaters, but I'm just telling you: Had I seen it and liked it, they wouldn't be talking about it being a flop. I guarantee you that. There's a lesson to be learned here.

The movie is doing fine at the box office.
Not to Syria (Assad), to the Syrian revolutionary islamists (ISIS and the other names they go by).
You can also wait until it comes out on DVD
My cousin went to see it today with his wife. He has called me up for at least 7 years telling me how great Obama is. The last few months he was extolling the virtues of Hillary. I say this to set up how hard it would be to talk against either one, which I have done for the entire century it seems.
Long story short, he say he cried through the entire movie. Direct quote “HOW COULD EVERYONE BAIL ON THESE MEN?” “People were fired up to go save them and join the battle, and they were told to stand down”. A meaner guy would say “well duh”, instead I said...”that is what I heard too”. He really had completely forgotten how often that I had mentioned Benghazi over the last 3 years.... The move....SHOOTS AND SCORES a direct hit....I can’t wait to see it now.
I liked it better than American Sniper. My kid and I both liked it better than Star Wars
It sounds like it is very well done.

The interesting thing is that it appears Libya acquired the Russian SA-24s from Venezuela.
Well yes; sorry I didn’t explain that further.
Most movies seem to show up in a year or two, and I’m fairly patient. We have Netflix and Amazon Prime so there’s a chance with one of those, too.
I don’t know that for sure.
But, the city of Benghazi was filled with terrorists .. and if they found out through Hillary’s treasonous actions that the visiting schedule at the compound was going to include Stevens, it could have been the reason they attacked when they did.
Remember too .. I suspect the terrorists could have been watching the compound for some time .. and if they just happened to see Stevens arrive, and then the Turkish man arrive .. maybe somebody in their group put two and two together and came up with four.
I also believe the terrorists somehow knew about the Libyan stash of weapons .. but they hadn’t been able to find it. However, if they were watching the compound .. they just might have figured out that WE knew where the stash was and we were managing to get it out of Libya.
And .. the guys at the CIA compound a mile away .. were there INVESTIGATING where the weapons were and what was happening to them. I still haven’t been able to figure out the relationship between the CIA guys and Stevens.
No way I could sit through a 13 hour long movie.
Good grief .. you’re really that stupid ..????????
“Carol” is a big flop pulling in less than$10M is 6 weeks The powers that be still keep this movie in the theater though it’s a big loser. lesbians get special
notoriety.
Chris Stevens was born in my little NorCal
hometown. His grandfather, Elmer “Chief” Stevens
was a frequent substitute high school of mine
after he retired from full time teaching.
Everyone loved Chief. When I saw the movie
somebody yelled “Hillary SUCKS!” as the
credits rolled.
