Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 1,827 registered, likely primary voters in Iowa. The poll was conducted on January 26th and 27th and includes 724 Republicans, 810 Democrats, and the remainder as independents or another party. The poll has a margin of error of ± 2% [4% for Republicans and 3% Democrats] at the 95% confidence level. The total may not round to 100% because of rounding. The polls were conducted using automated telephone calls (IVR technology). The results are weighted by voting demographics. The poll was conducted for One America News.

For 6/7 polls? Of for staffers quitting? It’s on Twitter.

BTW I think Tumo has given up on Cruz as veep b/c of inability to make birth thing go away.

19 out of 21 reasoned responses until we got to you with hairpieces, reality tv zombies and drama queens. There’s always one.

GGG doesn’t agree with us.

He insults the voters, but they have the power to make him eat gravel come Tuesday.

That pathetic line about these people just wanting to see a “celebrity” and they wont bother to go to a caucus, is so absurd, it borders on the sad.

Absolutely the dumbest thing ever. Of all “celebrities” I'd stand in line for 12 hours for a 1 hour event Trump would be at the bottom of the list. I want Trump because I honestly think that he will make America a strong country again. We won't have all these other countries walking all over us. Do you think for a second that Iran is going to be taking pictures of our Aircraft carriers with a President Trump and then bragging about it? Hell no. Do you think that Iran would take 10 of our Sailors and treat them the way they did basically embarrassing the United States with a President Trump? Hell no. Do you think that England would ever have a parliamentary vote on keeping one of our citizens out of the country due to not like them with a President Trump? Hell no (yes I know it was him but the reason I point this out is because of the overall perception of our country). President Obama has actually singlehandedly made the United States the laughingstock of the World. We are looked at as weak who can be bullied and nothing will be done and he succeeded in that. I am sick of our country being downgraded due to the bumbling idiot President. If Trump does NOTHING else but fix the perception of our country, I will be satisfied. We will never be able to fix our country if everyone in our country thinks we are weak. It just won't happen.

Fiorina was asked did she want to go with Santorum and Huckabee to the Trump vet event and she said no.

That was her decision and of course I believe was a wrong decision but she will pay for it probably on Tuesday if not a month from now. Not that she would have won anyway but Huckabee and Santorum received some respect from Trump and his supporters and they may even get a job out of it.....but even if not, it was the right thing for them to do to support the vet. Fiorina has made a decision out of emotion and dislike for Trump and that was the wrong way to look at this event.

Conservative treehouse via Twitter: resigning staffers said Ted flip-flopped, were threatened by legal if they talked.

The Des Moines Register - Bloomberg poll will be out Saturday around 6pm. It is most reliable.

Just Googled “Cruz staffers quitting”

All I got was Carson’s entire NH quit in order to volunteer for Cruz.

Agreed - this poll was taken just before the debate, with all of its kerfuffle.

Could we please talk Tuesday? If your guy wins, I will be all in for him. If mine, open your mind a bit for a chat? My guy is Trump. 43% to 23% to well, crap. You guys are ruining the plan. TC could still potentially be SCOTUS material, but VP? No way. He has a nasty streak. Good on SCOTUS, but not so much as a leader.

How does this play out for the three serious contenders?

If Trump Wins Iowa and New Hampshire, it is over for Rubio completely, and barring Trump having a ceiling of about 40%, will be over for Cruz after South Carolina. Winners win, and if Trump is perceived as the eventual nominee by enough people, it’s over.

If Cruz wins Iowa and finishes in the top three in New Hampshire, then South Carolina because very important. As others drop out, their support will shift. Cruz’s chances then would depend on how much support would go to Trump and how fast other candidates drop out. Cruz, like Trump, has the money to carry the fight on after South Carolina.

Rubio needs a real miracle. He needs to finish in the top two in Iowa and New Hampshire PLUS increase his fundraising in time to expand his ground game through the south. He can’t rely on TV ads and Florida, and he is running out of time and money.

No one else has enough money to stay in after South Carolina, not in any meaningful way.

I am a Cruz supporter, but Trump is half a lap up at this point. Unless Cruz plays it perfect, and gets lucky with a Trump stumble, the nomination is Trump’s to lose.
