Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 1,827 registered, likely primary voters in Iowa. The poll was conducted on January 26th and 27th and includes 724 Republicans, 810 Democrats, and the remainder as independents or another party. The poll has a margin of error of ± 2% [4% for Republicans and 3% Democrats] at the 95% confidence level. The total may not round to 100% because of rounding. The polls were conducted using automated telephone calls (IVR technology). The results are weighted by voting demographics. The poll was conducted for One America News.

RCP will not include this poll because they never do. HuffPost Pollster does and Trump has been over 30 in the last 9 polls, the garbage Iowa State poll excluded. Cruz over 30 twice. Once in the Gravis poll, once in the CBS You/Gov poll, but consistently in the mid 20's. HuffPo averages are 32.1 Trump to 24.7 Cruz. As I said, there's a little something in this for everyone. All in all, I think the dynamics have not changed. Many ppl think Gravis is garbage so I will let everyone decide what they make of this.

All appearances is that it is close between Cruz and Trump. We’ll see how fired up the supporters for each are on Mon. evening. Should be interesting.
So it’s within the margin of error? Ground game normally wins Iowa, so it’ll probably be Cruz, barring a completely game-changing turn-out from Trump supporters. What does that mean for New Hampshire, South Carolina and the SEC primaries?

I wish Cruz would have had an event last night like Trump did but at a different location just to see how many people would have shown up for it and started standing in line at 9 o’clock in the morning for a 9 o’clock in the evening event. Just would have been interesting to see what would have happened. Such a shame well never know.
If that is the separation, given Cruz’s turnout game, Trump better hold on to his hairpiece because a Cruise Missile is coming his way!

“Cruz’s turnout game” is nothing more than propaganda they put out to his base to give some sort of impression of inevitability...or hope.
Only an idiot brags about their methods of getting people to the polls. That gives other the chance to react and enhance theirs.

Cruz will destroy Trump on Monday because he is smarter and more motivated and has a far better turnout game. A large chunk of Trump’s supporters are reality tv zombies and people who are addicted to drama queens who will not show up to causus. Game, set, match.
