Jeff Sessions has never really been accused of being the brightest person in the Senate, but if you are someone who values a strong fighter against illegal immigration, then Sessions has been a valuable fighter for your issues. Now, in spite of years of fighting alongside Ted Cruz, whose efforts to defeat amnesty Sessions has repeatedly praised, Sessions appears set to endorse Donald Trump.
This news comes after Trump has spent the last week turning his back on everything he stood for at the beginning of his campaign, specifically promising to cut deals with Pelosi and Schumer, and admitting that he really only plans to wall off “about 1000″ miles of the U.S. border since the other 1000 has natural barriers – in other words, the exact same amount of wall that is supposed to already exist under United States law.

Wolf started out as one of the normal people that posted articles and commented, but rapidly became one of the moderators/enforcers. If memory serves me, this was back 2006-2008 perhaps.
RedState peaked around 2009 or so, and then has gone downhill since. Erickson had a big “night of the long knives” purge around that time, getting rid of a group of posters that had different opinions from the company line of RedState. It has never been the same. And with periodic “reworking” of the interface/software that always made it more difficult to post and follow things, it got unreadable. The move to a custom Disqus posting system that didn’t import previous posts and articles was the last straw for me. I go there occasionally just to see what some of the old members have to say, but they are rapidly becoming a scarce commodity there.
If you don’t toe the company line, they purge you. Period. The place is a mess and has been for years now.

As the globalists begin to accept that Trump may actually win this thing, I expect we’ll be seeing preemptive “hit pieces” on any and all ‘closed borders’ people who are even remotely possible as being Trump’s VP pick.

See there is something called Congress and appropriations.The building of a border wall was approved by Congress years ago. The only thing that stopped it was (the excuse of) environmental BS.

The entire congress and 1/3 of the senate are up for election every TWO years.
I’ll tell you exactly how it happens: Trump gets elected, turning the electoral map that we’ve all been used to for the last 20 years on it’s ear. He wins MI, MN, PA, and comes within a hair of winning NY and NJ. That right there will scare the living crap out of Dems and Reps who would dare oppose his mandate.
And he will have a REAL mandate for his platform with that win. This won’t be some lone wolf guy cramming his ideology down the country’s throat. This will be a man getting elected by a sizeable majority of the country BECAUSE of what he plans to do with the wall, Muslims, taxes etc.
When the politicians look at the numbers Trump gets in their own supposedly safe districts, it won’t even take two years to get them to fold like cheap suits.
That’s how it happens.

The bill that builds the wall (700 miles of it) has already been passed by Congress. It was never funded.
The Israelis are building a very effective wall. It is impassable. It will be over 400 miles when completed. Can learn from their experience if necessary.
