An hour after a Ted Cruz-supporting super political action committee announced it would give $1.5 million to any charity if Donald Trump met him for a one-on-one debate, fellow GOP candidate Carly Fiorina jumped in on the action.
Upping the ante, I'm free tomorrow at 8pm, @realDonaldTrump. My campaign will give $2mm to veterans' cause to debate at Drake U. (2/2)-- Carly Fiorina (@CarlyFiorina) January 28, 2016
My campaign will also donate $1.5 million to veterans' cause to join debate Saturday in Sioux City, @tedcruz @realDonaldTrump (1/2)-- Carly Fiorina (@CarlyFiorina) January 28, 2016
The former Hewlett Packard CEO tweeted late Thursday night that her campaign would match Keep the Promise's $1.5 million donation to a charitable cause if Cruz and Trump let her join their debate in Sioux City, proposed for Saturday.
Fiorina upped the ante by daring the Manhattan billionaire to take her on one-on-one at the Thursday night rally he announced in place of his attending the seventh GOP debate, hosted by Fox News. Her campaign said it would donate $2 million to veterans' organizations if Trump accepts.
It is unclear whether Fiorina, part of the undercard debate set for 6 p.m. Central time, would skip the debate or fulfill her obligations with the Republican National Committee before heading to Drake University -- two miles away -- to take on Trump.

Trump should counter all this BS by just flat-out donating $10 million to veterans groups with no pre-conditions and then say publicly to the others, there, match it, with no pre-conditions.
“Are you’all emulating “The Donald”? What class. No class.”

“Are you emulating âThe non-NBCâ? What foolishness. No sense.”
Fixed it.
Real charity isn't conditional. Love is giving without expecting something in return. So much for the beatification of Ted Cruz.
That would be a very entertaining debate!
“This history may be hurting senator Cruz...”
And what has any of this to do with my comment responding to inappropriate comments in the form of personal, derogatory and immature attacks that have nothing to do with the thread.
Cruz is stronger against amnesty than Trump who favors a touch back, deport, return get amnesty plan. If foreign workers were proven to be needed Cruz wanted existing law to be followed. Cruz has not pushed and did not vote for TPP, Trump didn’t know what it was or what countries were or were not involved.
It’s also “against the rules” for the RNC to be lining up for or against specific candidates prior to the nomination but they’re doing it.
You’ve definitely got it figured out. Santorum won Iowa in 2012 and Mike Huckabee won in 2008. I can’t imagine why anyone but Trump is still campaigning...

Carly Fiorina's conversion from Hillary Clinton fan to fervent critic
washingtonpost.com ^ | 8/14/15 | Ruth Marcus
In 2010, the then-GOP Senate nominee went all middle-school-cafeteria on her Democratic opponent's hairdo. “God, what is that hair? Sooo yesterday,” Fiorina, already miked up, commented, quoting an aide's assessment. Two years earlier, in the makeup room at ABC's “This Week” with me, Fiorina said something that, at the time, was mildly interesting, but is now revelatory. It was May 2008, close to the end of the long primary battle between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and we were discussing the two Democratic contenders.
At which point Fiorina, then a campaign surrogate for presumptive GOP nominee John McCain, offered some unprompted praise for Clinton: If Fiorina hadn't been backing McCain, she told me, she would have been for Clinton.
“That's off the record,” Fiorina immediately added.
Wow!
Yep. Not what I expected from Cruz.
+1

So your endorsing childish, crude, personal attack remarks in lieu of remarks of substance that are pertinent to the issues?
“So your endorsing childish, crude, personal attack remarks in lieu of remarks of substance that are pertinent to the issues?”
...........................................................
So, you go around insulting Trump supporters? That is childish, crude, and personally attacking people you don’t agree with. We believe he has substance that are pertinent to the issues. Okay?
“So, you go around insulting Trump supporters? That is childish, crude, and personally attacking people you donât agree with. We believe he has substance that are pertinent to the issues. Okay?”
I didn’t through out the insults, did you not read the comments made by those on the post you made? Are you saying those comments were pertinent to the issues? As a TRUMP supporter aren’t you offended by that kind of non-essential rhetoric? Did you read the comments on your thread?
So you go around conducting a character assassination campaign against Cruz?
Why might that be exactly?
Since you have stated that you are a fan of Bill Clinton..
What exactly are your thoughts about Hillary? Hmmmmm.
Exactly, that's the way to do it â let's fold the military charity / charities into the GOP campaign!
Instead of having silly "ideas" debates let's see which multimillinaire or billionaire can donate more to a charity picked by other billionaires and multimillionaires. Maybe have Bloomberg join in (he was a "Republican" at one time, after all) and Ben Affleck is already making commercials for wounded veterans, so maybe Big Hollywood can choose a representative and donate in his name, so we can vote for that guy / gal (or whatever they "identify" themselves) to be The Nominee and dispense with the other campaign nonsense.
Let's go forth and find out who can give the biggest donation to charity, declare them The Nominee and let the Force$ be with them! This will save so much time and money eventually; and we can still have a convention, it will be just one big party!
There is some danger of Hillary or Bernie show up with military, sheriffs and other LEOs in the background but I don't think it's going to fool us into voting for them â I am sure that "our guy/gal" can outbid them...
