Simply question. Why is choosing the moderators for a Presidential candidate debate more important to Fox News then having the front running Presidential candidate at the debate? Are the candidates or the Networks the focus of the debate?
That right there shows just why this whole “debate” process is totally messed up. The “Journalists” now think they are part of the story, not there to report on the event.
I was thinking that there was a chance that Trump would appear, but too many shenanigans by Fox are coming to light.
Breitbart has an article by Michelle Malkin - Murdoch has basically endorsed Rubio.
How on earth is a completely biased news network going to conduct an unbiased debate?
Well played, Mr. Trump.
Shocked.
I thought it would be Yeb!
It’s just a giant fricking whore house!!!!
Just commented in an earlier thread that it seems to new go-to guy for FoxNews/Stirwalt is Rubio, because Rubio has moved up a couple of points.
It does seem, sans Trump, the debate contenders are supposed to try to take Cruz out.
Of course, taking Cruz out could be a big coup for FoxNews and one or two of the contenders, but that would likely only give more points to Trump.
Even Cruz supporters should find this upsetting as Fox is not kind to Cruz either. Let’s see honesty here.
Rubio???
If it doesn’t scare away Cruz then why is Trump so scared?
Debating Hillary will be 10X tougher than what FNC has planned.
Cruz is getting ready for the big fight, while Don ditches,
You’re not going to find anyone anywhere that is truly unbiased, we all have preferences about who we’d rather see win this election. But journalists are supposed to at least behave as if they were unbiased. The previous Fox debate was pathetic, not just the first tier, but the second tier debate as well. The people who ran that debate which includes Chris Wallace as well as Kelly should be persona non grata at any future debate. Amazingly Fox’s handling of that debate was worse than any of the others.
Cruz is my guy, with Trump in second, and I’m certainly enjoying the pot-shots in both directions because of Trump’s decision not to play. Rand’s statement that the IQ of the debate just went up is funny and somewhat true... but the IQ of the debate went way up when Fox Business handled the debate and Kelly and Wallace were nowhere around. Kelly and Wallace were an embarrassment. Kelly and Wallace lowered the IQ of the debate.
Trump should be clear that it isn’t just Kelly, its Fox that is the problem.
Right, because we all know that fathers always agree with their daughters choices.
This may be surprising to some, but the connections between News organizations and Politicians in Washington is rampant if not incestuous. There are countless marriages and sibling relationships between so-called journalists and politicians (Mostly on the Democrat side)to make one wonder if you can ever trust the news.
While Megyn Kelly made headlines with her heated questioning of Donald Trump, not one of the Fox News anchors asked Rubio in the first Fox News debate about his signature piece of legislation, which Murdoch's immigration lobbying firm had endorsed. Instead, they lobbed Rubio a series of softballs, such as asking Rubio if he could put God and veterans in the same sentence.
Last year, Norquist partnered with former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's pro-amnesty Partnership for a New American Economy last year to hold monthly conference calls with lawmakers to strategize on amnesty legislation.
Norquist also hailed the passage of the Senate's Gang of Eight's comprehensive amnesty bill, which the Congress Budget Office determined would lower the wages of American workers.
Look who is behind Rubio and McCain!
How is the fact Sammon’s adult daughter’s decision to work for one of the campaigns a “conflict of interest?”
If she worked for the Trump campaign, nobody would be squawking about it.
I would really like to see ordinary plain boring salt-of-the-earth persons with college degrees and a talent of grammar ask the frickin’ questions.
MeGYN and the rest of the ‘news stars’ and ‘news babes’ can go strut their stuff on the street as far as I care.
What we need to know from Fox: Who put out the snarky press release that was not funny?
This guy? Or someone else?
"@BradCross4: @Drudge_Report_ @realDonaldTrump— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 28, 2016
This is really getting ridiculous. I hope that Trump is steadfast in his resolution to avoid this last debate.
OH NO! Someone’s kid works on a campaign, and therefor poor little Donny will be beaten up by Megyn Kelly on national TV!
Run away! Run away!
No one has mentioned that the CNN Deputy Chief Virginia Moseley is married to Tom Nides who is on the Hillary staff.
