A Somali immigrant was arrested yesterday for hitting an MBTA bus driver and records show transit cops have locked him up three times for violent assaults in less than three years, officials said.
Mohamed Noor, 29, of Brookline was arrested after he boarded a bus at about 12:45 a.m. on Commercial Street in Malden, but refused to pay the fare, police said.
“The (driver) explained to Noor he would have to pay his fare or exit the bus,†police said in a statement. “Noor began to make verbal threats and insults towards the victim and in doing so placed other passengers in fear of their safety. When the victim refused to move the bus, Noor struck the victim in the face and head with his scarf and hands.â€
Noor pleaded not guilty in Malden District Court to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, interfering with a bus driver, disorderly conduct, and threatening to commit a crime, Middlesex District
Attorney Marian Ryan’s office said. He was held on a probation warrant out of Roxbury District Court.
“The safety of MBTA employees is one of our top priorities, we will follow this case closely to ensure Noor is held responsible for his actions,†said Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan.
In October 2013, Noor was arrested for punching and kicking an elderly bus driver in Roxbury. He was sentenced to 2 1â„2 years in prison, with the sentence suspended for four years, court records show.
Then, in August 2014 he attacked a man in the Sullivan Square MBTA station, savagely beating the 53-year-old until the victim ran onto a bus, Transit police said in a statement. The victim in that case did not testify, however, Noor was held in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody for a time, court records show.
An official with ICE said they have not placed a detainer on him, but added “ICE is closely monitoring the situation.â€
I haven’t yet decided if Pakistan or Somalia is the worst country in the world. I call it the A##hole of the world award. Its a tight race.
Neither provides the world with anything good or anything useful. They have no values which are universal, admirable or transmittable. both are violent, backward societies with mostly illiterate, inbred inhabitants who can contribute basically nothing to other societies.

And here’s the irony. The sincere Christian model works all around. Even for things that liberals today claim that they want. If the society defended itself, it would then have more room for doing charity sanely, because it would never let the beneficiaries just walk away with the benefactors. Kind of like our problem with Mexico. Trump has no problem with helping Mexicans; he has a big problem with letting the situation overwhelm us, knowing that this isn’t good for anybody. Or like the rescue lifeguard who pins the arms of the rescued person because otherwise his mad thrashing would bring both down in the water.
Here is a riddle. When is a jail sentence not a sentence? When it is a *suspended sentence*. This is how law and order is turned into a joke.
I wasn’t born yesterday, wasn’t born again yesterday. Yeah I’m “original” but these are only ideas that came from God in the first place. So sue me. Prove it wrong if it’s wrong and I’ll take the correction. But if it’s right then take the advice... I got it from an unimpeachable source....
On what basis is this he here in the USA? If he’s not a citizen, ship his butt home.
Or lock him up and let the prison population straighten him out.

Funny how logic makes its way through many realms. Believe it or not even theology is logical. You can get some premises to the effect that God is crazy by any norm we know, but that is outside of the realm of logic. Nobody ever expected first causes to be any different way.

Jhoctar Tsarnaev was given a $20,000 scholarship for a local college. He didn’t earn it. He was not a serious scholar, all he did was sell marijuana and build bombs but the political establishment wanted to reward him for being a muslim and of course a future democrat voter. This is naked abuse of the system.

When you give them special treatment with light consequences for their transgressions they are taught to act like this.
This is quite possibly how the Lord is stacking the deck. We get a man who, however crude he appears, seems to be set up to address a pressing problem; and we have a problem that is bringing its own chastisement upon its perpetrators.

This is what happens when charity, a virtue in context (God taught this to men in their conscience), is made into a vanity parade. All sense is lost, and the perps don’t care, at least not until the fire burns right up to their own doorsteps.
Perp knew that in Boston and its environs he would not likely encounter anyone carrying concealed. I certainly would have shown him my piece and demand that he leave the bus.
Especially the unvetted admission. In a way, you can’t really blame a hyena for acting like a hyena; but you can shut him out of your house.
Well I guess he got shipped there, and didn’t really ask for Boston. Still it tends to give off such vibes.
