As many of our viewers know, FOX News is hosting a sanctioned debate in Des Moines, Iowa on Thursday night, three days before the first votes of the 2016 election are cast in the Iowa Caucus. Donald Trump is refusing to debate seven of his fellow presidential candidates on stage that night, which is near unprecedented.
Weâre not sure how Iowans are going to feel about him walking away from them at the last minute, but it should be clear to the American public by now that this is rooted in one thing â Megyn Kelly, whom he has viciously attacked since August and has now spent four days demanding be removed from the debate stage. Capitulating to politiciansâ ultimatums about a debate moderator violates all journalistic standards, as do threats, including the one leveled by Trumpâs campaign manager Corey Lewandowski toward Megyn Kelly.

Trump drew a red line and he’s not moving it or crossing it. Good for him! We need someone like that in office, not like the current pussy in chief.
Don’t know if he is homosexual or not but he damn sure is queer!
Yo! I'm having a late breakfast here.
“This is the ballsiest thing Iâve ever seen.”
Balls are seriously lacking in D.C. No one even showed up for work during the snow days. That’s BS, those people are paid with taxpayer money, I don’t care what the weather looks like, they need to be earning their money. Doctors, policemen, firemen, nurses, etc all made it to work. Public employees need to be there, too. Bunch of lazy pussies is all they are. Any excuse not to be at work.
LOL -You are correct Still and always will. The foxes grow in some respect even though they will get no respect for those of US who seek the truth. Will there now bets be taken for the time when we see Hannity, Bo’re and a few others migrating upstream to strike out without Fox? They are going down the drain w/the toilet water. Too big for their britches and like Beck (our old buddy Glenn) they will find themselves at the bottom of a ladder w/o rungs.
Coward. Stand and present yourself to your potential employers (the voters.)
“Coward. Stand and present yourself to your potential employers (the voters.)”
The man is putting his reputation, his billions of dollars of investments at risk, and his life in front of potential assassins, faces down a major world news organization, and you have the foolishness to describe that as being a coward....sad for you.
The fact is Trump will be even closer to Iowa voters than he would have been on a stage with more than a dozen other people. His move just outflanked an enemy ambush and allowed him to attack the enemy where it hurts them the most, in their bank accounts and reputation.
He’s having a temper tantrum because somebody asked him a tough question that he didn’t like, so now he’s going to take his ball and go home.
He’s afraid to face reporters for fear that they might ask him more tough questions. Yes, that’s cowardly and it reflects badly on his temperament to be president. How can he face down Putin or Khameini if he can’t face Megyn Kelly?
Contrast Ted Cruz’s reaction when he didn’t like a question. He launched into a speech about the unfair questions that were being asked of the other candidates, going around the stage, including Trump. He never mentioned the question that had been askled of him, leaving the idea that it, too, was unfair as an implication.
Then he went on and continued to participate in the process. He didn’t whine and go home, stomping his feet.
Ailes IS a friend of Trump’s and is in the tank for him. Why do you think he gets more free air time than the other candidates?
So now if he can’t control the questions, it’s an ambush? Do you really expect any of us to buy that (other than blinded Trumpkins)?
No, it’s about Donald and his ego.
No, Ailes WAS a friend of Trumpâs....
Rumored, yes. That’s the guy. Don’t know if it’s true. It wouldn’t surprise me.
And according to some reports, Trump tried to woo her. I don’t know if that’s true either, but he does have a history (according to him) of bedding a lot of married women, so I wouldn’t be shocked if it turned out to be true.
If it is, note I said IF it is true, that would certainly explain a lot of Trump’s animosity towards Megyn Kelly in particular.
What is your evidence that they were “planning an ambush”? That Trump says so?
I suspect he’ll show up at the last minute, unannounced, in his ongoing quest to hurt Fox. Maybe he just likes liberal news outlets better.
LOL..Only an idiot couldn’t see the obvious.
It will be fun to watch the guys applying for the VP job.
How do you know he didn't?
“rub Kelly into Trump’s face”?!?
She’s just one of the moderators. She’s one of their primary news people. Who do you think should be in that chair, some Trump worshipper? (There are plenty of those at Fox News, including, I think, Ailes.)
Megyn asked Trump a tough question, one that wasn’t very nice, but given his personal history and his public comments, not an unfair question. And Trump had a temper tantrum and won’t let go of the tough question.
Just stand there and face tough questions like any other candidate. Yoru ego trip is getting tiresome.
So do I, and I think so do the rest of the voters. But he won't give them that chance unless he can control the event.
