Honestly, it was all just a mistake. Map Making is a relatively new ‘science’ and until we get enough adventurous explorers who can verify the boundaries of some of the mysterious ruins of lost civilizations like the Jews which are now buried under the ever growing and expanding NEW PALESTINE, well, updates might have to wait. It’s not like we can just wave a magic wand or our finger and instantly edit a map.

First CNN, now NPR. I'm sure it's purely coincidental.
Right.

If your understanding is that mistakes are often made when working under time pressure and you know you are working under time pressure, then it is your responsibility to review your work to ensure mistakes are corrected BEFORE publication. Apologies after the fact are hollow.

As far as “at risk” places to go on vacation, I would have to say Israel doesn’t count and “Palestine” does.

“That nobody at NPR recognized just how problematic this image is on multiple levels speaks volumes about the deficiencies in the editorial process.”
It wasn’t a deficiency, it was on purpose - they just got caught, and they regret that.

NPR was just premature.
Nobama put the release date of Jan. 19, 2017. when he issued the revised map.

The real story would be the identity of the person who put the presentation together for the broadcaster. The broadcasters never compile this stuff themselves.
Any bets on the identity being a person from the official RoP?

How does the correction relabeling the area from “Palestine” to “Palestinian Territories” correct the map? I don’t get it??

The map portion of the illustration had a number of mistakes,ââ¬Â Jensen wrote. The most notable being that Israel was labeled as Palestine.Just an innocent mistake, lol!
