Monitor Accuses Russia and Syria of 'Revenge Massacres' After Airstrikes Reportedly Kill 164

The death toll from a recent wave of attacks by Russian and Syrian warplanes on areas controlled by the Islamic State (IS) has risen to 164 over the past 72 hours, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR). The dead are said to include 43 children and 25 women.
The UK-based monitoring group said the attacks targeted towns across the countryside in the eastern province of Deir al-Zor, and Raqqa, the de facto capital of IS's self-proclaimed caliphate. The SOHR described the bombings as "revenge massacres." Last week, IS reportedly kidnapped an estimated 400 civilians from Syrian government-held areas in Deir al-Zor. Though 270 of the captives were later released, the militants were accused of carrying out beheadings and targeting pro-government fighters and their families.

The Russians don’t care, won’t care, and if you ask them why they don’t care they will laugh in your face. They were the same way with the East Germans in 1953, the Hungarians in 1956, the Czechs in 1968, the Afghans in the early 80’s, and would have done the same to the Poles if Gen. Jaruzelski hadn’t taken on the job. It’s ugly and innocents get killed but that is how wars are won, something we used to know at least as late as August of 1945.

The video shows the bomber releasing a flurry of bombs at IS positions in Deir-ez-Zor.
As usual, the Russians are hitting children and leaving ISIS alone.
They are all ISIS.
One correction, it is not a fighter, it is a bomber, a Backfire bomber in NATO terms.
If anyone is concerned by this, take a look at 1000 bombers attacking Dresden during WWII and what happened to “non combatants”. Frankly from my point of view, they should be using nukes.

There was a NY Times article on how people in these cities welcomed ISIS. Not all for sure but they would not be able to operate there if not for collusion with the population. ISIS is normal Islam allowed to be practiced.
