A national poll about a certain group is irrelevant right now. It's all about the ground game and garnering support in Iowa right now.

Trump has convinced 28% of voters that Ted Cruz is a Canadian.

...97% among evangelical voters nationwide.

Well that seems legit...not.

Anyone’s guess is as good as mine on that.

I don’t think Ted knows Beck that well, and he thought he was an edgy person that many would identify with.

Wrong.

I think it was a mistake, but I also blame this largely on Beck.

When you’re in a situation like that, you defer to the major player. You don’t spring “oaths” on him.

Beck may have really damaged him with that, and that’s not really Ted’s fault.

Beck is just a social curmudgeon.

Cruz can’t hit Trump’s curve ball...none of them can.

This doesn’t say Iowa anywhere. I assume it’s a national poll.

Not to worry, GGG! Ted Cruz is just playing rope-a-dope and will bounce back off the ropes to KO Donald Trump in Iowa.

I do not think it is a ‘Palin effect’.

He married himself to Glenn Beck, and did perform a mock swearing in procedure, which really hit some folks wrong, and for others, is looking like he put a jinx on his own efforts.

“I’m guessing Cruz didn’t plummet with Black evangelicals, because he didn’t have any to start with.”

Really? Even his best friend at collage?

Ted was a dupe? Yikes! That’s even worse, DO. .)

No, something strange was in that appearance. I can not fault Beck, because it is Cruz who is in charge of his campaign, his appearances and with whom, and show casing certain endorsements.

Beck blew Ted up, as if last week alone was not enough.

Ted made a mistake here, should not have come within a hundred miles of Beck, let alone be on the same stage.

I still like him (as a senator), but this was a major error.

What is notable to me is that Cruz is making no real effort to refute it, explain it, or even deny it!

One time, I saw Cruz, say that mom got a CRAL, some acronym. He did not define the acronym, explain it, he just threw it out there as if it were “enough”, and closed the chapter ever since. (At least to my knowledge, he closed the chapter.)

This BC thing has made him a punchline, and ignores it. That does not win elections to ignore how you are being defined.

UNLESS it is true?

These numbers are great, but I’m not getting my hopes up. Polls have been full of it in the past.

I’m fighting back excitement at this point. I’m pretty sure it’s going to go one of two ways: A) Everyone underestimated Trump’s ground game (in all the states) and he’s going to absolutely crush everyone because people who previously have become disinterested in the process are now motivated to vote in the primaries, or B) No one bothers to actually go out and vote and it’s just a muddled mess and slowly some establishment lane person like Rubio gains traction and becomes the nominee.

I think the MSM and political establishment squawking parrots have largely been correct about one thing: This election is throwing all the political insiders for a loop, and it’s safe to throw the playbook out the window. At least, I hope this is true, because it bodes well for Trump if so.

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see. At this point, I’m just going to show up on voting day and do my part, and the chips will fall where they may. I’ll throw my vote to Cruz in the general if he manages to pull it off somehow.

Anyone other than those two, I’ll have to engage in some soul-searching and prayer to guide me on what to do.

The effect of Palin’s endorsement coupled with CRAZY A$$ Beck’s mental showcase and Trump walks away with a BIG lead once again.

I think CRuz knows Beck very well if he’s allowing Beck’s BFF to manage his SuperPACs.

Also, Barton and CRuz Sr are good friends (same theology beliefs).

A lot of folks have said that CRuz had no choice, on the oath deal. A brilliant and snappy candidate could’ve pushed back with: “ha ha, no....while I appreciate your vote of confidence, let’s wait one more year for that, Glenn”. It does tell me that CRuz seems to fear (is submissive) to Beck...which is not a good thing.

I wonder if it’s Barton and Beck who are actually ‘advising’ poor Ted.
