DES MOINES --- Sen. Joni Ernst is set to appear on the campaign trail Monday with Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio with only a week until the Iowa caucuses kick off.
Ernst, who maintained she is remaining neutral in the race, will be introducing Rubio at an event in Des Moines.
Who knew?
They got to her ...she is owned now ...unfortunate
She is a HUGE disappointment, and because of what she said during the campaign as opposed to what she is doing NOW, she is also a liar!
I thought she was a Tea Party congresswomen.
What is she doing endorsing Rubio?
In conjunction with the Des Moines Register?
Well, she's still better than Bruce Braley, but that's of limited comfort.
Mr. niteowl77
Staying neutral?
When did we throw out the dictionary?
Rubio IS a Tea Party senator, it’s just that he is for amnesty which understandably makes a lot of tea partiers not like him.
Since his money people pulled the Iowa funding for Rubio I suspect this is them calling in a favor.
Who is this “Rubio Monday?”
Are you a Jeb supporter?
She is a HUGE disappointment, and because of what she said during the campaign as opposed to what she is doing NOW, she is also a liar!
Agreed!!!! So sad—thought she had real potential...she did NOT MAKE ‘EM SQUEAL!!
Ms. Ernst is a bit of a disappointment.
I’m with you. Rubio is a much more reliable conservative than most others, except for his blind spot on the invasion of the US. I’m wondering if with the proper mentoring he wouldn’t be on board with stupping the invasion of the US, now that it’s about the very survival of the US as a nation.
We're talking Iowa here. Rubio is the most conservative pro-ethanol candidate in the field. Cruz was winning in Iowa until he went out there and told them he wasn't reneging on the phaseout of the ethanol mandate (along with all other energy incentives; he wants the market to decide). The Iowa GOP establishment has gone full bore anti-Cruz as a result.
Really disappointing
June 26, 2015.
Yeah, we have to vote for the so-called conservatives....
Ernst in Iowa, Kelly Ayote in New Hampshire, Nikki Haley in South Carolina, Mia Love in Utah, Marco Rubio in Florida...
hell, even my local congressman, Bruce Poliquin of Maine’s Second Congressional District....he got elected in 2014 for the first time, running as a conservative.
Then he votes for Boehner as House speaker, votes to fund executive amnesty along with so-called Homeland Security, and voted for the $1.1 trillion to fund the government.
I’m tired of it.
Joni has neutered too many hogs. It has warped her perspective. Perhaps that is why she supports a candidate with no balls.
