This is an emergency means for us to keep in touch with our FRiends, who are real Conservatives, in case of purging. Or, if there is no purging, do we really want to continue our discussions in the forum where the owner despises us for not supporting his non-Conservative candidate?

My purpose is to figure out what to do to continue our discussions to advance Conservatism.

Why is it so important to keep asking it at this point in the process? Maybe some of us are listening to Trump to hear if he has any real understanding of our core values.

I don't need to hear it from his supporters. I need to hear it from him.

His "never thought about it" comment is troublesome. I'd like for him to expound on it.

The document is from the Board of Elections which shows every election Trump has voted in.

It is not a republican document. It is a state document so any dates missing means he did not vote at all.

If he had voted democrat or independent it would have been listed on this document with something other than an R.

The reason for the thread was the attack on Jim Robinson by the "Consistent Conservatives."

A few of them received ZOTs that evening. They were righteous ZOTs. Early in the day, some supposedly Cruz supporters were even making fun of Jim's amputation. They are gone.

This thread by Jim was to bring attention to it.

It seems to be turning into another deflection from the original content.

The question is an important one. If Trump is the nomination, will you vote for him?

If Cruz is nominated I will vote for him. I will have to compromise my conservative principals to save our country. Simply, Cruz is not NBC. By voting for him, we lose a lot of leverage in going after Obama and his illegal actions. We also open the doorways for anchor babies and other foreign agents with dual allegiances.

Cruz would still be the only alternative despite these issues to begin putting a break on the destruction of our country.

I characterize myself has a hard headed stubborn principled conservative. It makes me nauseous thinking about my 2008 and 2012 votes, where many of us were shamed into supporting the Super RINOS that they were.,

In 2016, I will vote for the most conservative (any party) candidate. If for some reason (though unlikely) that candidate is Trump, I will vote for him.

And to the argument that this gives the election to Hilary.......

Well, I am not convinced that Trump will not Flip Flop and revert to his previous liberal past. I'd rather not see this country's woes be blamed on a liberal GOP president, if we can avoid it,

What the "Consistent Conservatives" don't get is that we are in a war with the Marxist globalists and we are at war with Islam and we are losing both wars. The country needs a leader that is unabashedly an American first. A leader that will defend America, rebuild the military, secure the border, defend Christianity, bring back manufacturing jobs and deport illegals. Prior to Trump getting in, NO ONE was talking about any of these things. NO ONE.

If we do not fix immigration this election cycle the country is done, the constitution is dead and we the people are screwed. That is why we the people are getting behind Trump. It got zero to do with right/left. It's survival.

I guess is Phyllis Schlafly is not a conservative either. Trump is 'last hope for America'. Some people can see the forest thru the trees others like these "Consistent Conservatives" can't.
