"The ad is very misleading. In fact, it outright lies about a widow's home being bulldozed," Pierson tells Breitbart News in an exclusive interview. "When you look at the facts, there is a process in place for eminent domain which was followed in this instance. Ms. Coking ended up keeping her property for years, because Mr. Trump didn't purchase it, and it ended up saving him a fortune," Pierson adds. In 2014, 16 years after the court battle ended and several years after Coking moved to California, her grandson sold the house at auction for $530,000, far less than Trump was willing to pay her in the 1990s. None it was probono by Institute for Justice, Trump paid her $90k for damage done to her house during the construction adjacent.
Excuse me if I didn’t quite make my point. Allow me to try again:
Polls don’t mean crap to me.
Not voting for Trump.
Not drinking the kool-aid.
The proof of the kool-aid is in the drinking.
First, let me be really clear here: as I’ve said on numerous occasions, I AM NOT A CRUZ PARTISAN. I like him, yes, and will voted for him in the blink of an eye - just as I will with five or six others. It does me no good to get attached to any of them at this point.
But let me be really clear here - I am not going to change everything I have believed in my entire adult life in order to join a cult of personality. There are about a dozen people seeking the Republican nomination right now.
Of that dozen, there is exactly one who not only supported eminent domain abuse, but actively participated in it.
Of that dozen, there is exactly one who not only enthusiastically endorsed partial birth abortion, but sought the presidency with that as a part of his platform.
Of that dozen, there is exactly one who gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Clinton family, directly supporting their liberal worldwide initiatives.
So again, I haven’t picked a favorite yet. But I have narrowed my list down to the conservatives.
What really happened: Trump got in the bulldozer, himself and ran over the woman while he bulldozed it. Then, he backed up the dozer and ran over her again, again, and again.
Then, he planted a Trump for president 2016 sign, in and over her dying and quivering body.
Next he yelled, "Go to hell Megyn Kelly!"
hehe
Try Sunnu and Bush they appointed Souter
That picture is definitely worth a thousand words. LOL!
The house is either still standing or relatively recently destroyed by an heir.
“The fact that Donny is still proud of this charade should tell everybody what a disgusting prick he really is”
What does that make Ted Cruz who outright lied and said Trump took the lady’s house and bulldozed it?
If you take a closer look, you'll find that Abilis is a charity. Reading between the lines, Trump's nephew went to Abilis to get treatment for his son because Trump wouldn't pay for his medical insurance. Trump essentially threw the fate of his great nephew upon the kindness of strangers. And it's a non-answer to say that his nephew had ample resources.
How many billionaires, in the course of an inheritance dispute over millions of dollars, would stop paying the medical insurance for a great nephew with cerebral palsy who was obviously not part of the dispute? Donald Trump is one of those people. Donald Trump isn't just a sleazoid - he's a petty sleazoid who will stick it to a disabled great nephew over what, to him, is petty cash. I don't even want to know what he'll do to the complete strangers in the conservative movement he's supposedly pledged his allegiance to, when it suits his personal interests.
No, not blaming him.
He offered, she rejected, it played out as it did.
Had an aunt who lived in California, they wanted her house for a freeway interchange as I understand it. She settled, took her money to Arkansas and bought or built a new house there.
And we got John Roberts from W. Sigh
If Beck, the NR idiots and other stuff continues to blow up on Cruz. He will make Trump look like the younger man.
Icahn owner of Vera Cokingâs A.C. house ATLANTIC CITY - Vera Coking famously refused to sell to Donald Trump. But in the end, she sold to Carl Icahn.
So I guess if Donald wants to actually bulldoze it, he will have to talk to Carl! :-) YOU JUST CANâT MAKE THIS STUFF UP!!
Ah, yes, and we’re back to square one for the latecomers.
Like I said, I encourage you and Trump to take out TV ads in every early primary state, detailing exactly how Cruz “lied”. That would entail describing exactly how he used the eminent domain process to deny the woman her property rights, but hey, the people need the truth.
In that case, I apologize for the confusion. Perhaps I mixed you up with another poster, but you’re sure talking exactly like one of the more... intense Cruzers.
Having said that, partial birth abortion in Trump’s platform? Where?
On top of that, you’d better remove Cruz from the list of ‘conservatives’ because if you look honestly at his downsides, they’re about as bad as Trump’s, just with fewer upsides like job creation. And Cruz did this as a national-level lawmaker, not as a businessman.
And that leaves... who? Rubio? Pfft. Bush? Christie? Take out these two candidates and there’s no one left who will do anything but the same old same old.
In every election, you have to compromise your principles in some way. Otherwise you wouldn’t ever do anything but write in yourself.
I don’t know about you, but I’m voting for the candidate who has shown that he’s able to stomp a mudhole in the media and the establishment. He’s the only one running who CAN.
Everyone else in the race has shown themselves unable or unwilling to do so. And unless the current power structure is demolished, you’re going to get worse than partial birth abortion legality and Kelo. A LOT worse.
I have to roll the dice on Trump, because no other candidate is worth a bucket of warm spit. No matter how low the chances are, the chances with Trump are better than the great big zilch that the others will give.
Who worked with Roberts, liked and recommended him to W.?
So who will get your vote?
He had been paying for their insurance and after they sued him he said why should I pay for the insurance if they are suing me.
The child's Dad hosts a golf outing for the charity yearly. They live in a lovely Greenwich home. That is what I thought you would see.
The agency is nonprofit not free and it provides home visits. William involved with them for his first three years.
"For the second year in a row, the Golf for Abilis event will take place at Trump National in Briarcliff Manor and will include a breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a challenging 18 holes of golf."
I think it is quite unsavory to be digging into private family matters to smear a candidate especially since there appears to be no real meat to the story and outsiders are not privy to all the facts.
