With just five days until Fox News airs the final GOP debate before the Iowa Caucuses, Donald Trump is reigniting his war with Megyn Kelly. "Based on âª@MegynKelly's conflict of interest and bias she should not be allowed to be a moderator of the next debate," Trump tweeted while campaigning in Iowa on Saturday.
Trump's feud with Kelly has been one of the most memorable storylines of this raucous GOP primary. In recent weeks, it has heated up. In a lengthy Vanity Fair profile this month, Kelly boasted of writing the now famous debate question about Trump's history of misogynic comments, which ignited the feud this summer. And last week, Kelly sarcastically brought up Sarah Palin's Trump endorsement, as well as hosted National Review editor Rich Lowry to promote the National Review's anti-Trump issue.
Trump's campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, indicated that Trump could walk away from the debate if Fox won't exclude Kelly. "Let's see what happens," he told me. "It's fair to say Mr. Trump is a significant ratings driver for these debates. If we aren't on stage for some reason, they wouldn't have the record 24 million viewers and would be back with 1-2 million people."

PING
GO TRUMP!
DO IT!
Sweet.
I’ll tune into Trump’s Town Hall and skip the Megyn show on Fox. No problem.
But wait...Megyn needs to show off her ‘Master Race Makeover’......
I’d rather watch Trump only anyway. We’re already at the point of too many debates.
But.....why is Mr. Trump still running? I thought Glenn Beck already swore Ted in. It’s over.
This is an entertaining primary race. Dot dimwitted like the Dem-RAT race
Fox shouldn’t dump Megyn Kelly just because one campaign demands it, that’s ridiculous!
I’d much prefer a Trump townhall. They only ask him very few gotcha questions, at these “debates”, so I say do it!!!
Not necessarily a Trump fan here but I certainly admire the way he’s putting the arm bar on the media. It’s a key campaign element for him. It would be a good thing for the media to learn that they are not the show.
LOL
That was an anointing :)
If Trump isn’t at the debate the bullseye will be squarely on Cruz. Looks like a win-win deal for Trump. He’s playing with house money.
Get out of the kitchen, Donald.
I’ve had this idea months before. Trump sets up his question and answer presser or town hall opposite of a debate. It would be coups d’etat in media coverage over Fox.
>>Fox shouldnât dump Megyn Kelly just because one campaign demands it, thatâs ridiculous!
Why not? Fox has about 40 other hot blondes they could trot out.
I'm tired of these stacked debates. And of course it gets even more stacked in the general election debates. You want George Stephanopoulos? Fine. I'll take Rush Limbaugh.
If Trump held a townhall on a competing broadcast network, FoxNews ratings for their debate would be in the 3-4 million range, while the townhall would get 15 million or more.
