Life as a Trump spokesperson has got to be a degrading existence. Your job, essentially, is to defend every public utterance of a guy who changes positions every half hour, but refuses to ever admit that he has ever been wrong. As the Right Scoop notes, part of the job description of being a Trump spokesman is literally believing that Donald Trump has never been wrong, even when Donald Trump disagrees with previous things Donald Trump has said.
Supporters of other candidates do not have to do this. Rubio's supporters don't have to say that Rubio was never involved in Gang of 8 or that it wasn't a mistake, because Rubio admits it. Cruz's supporters don't have to say that he has never supported a massive increase in H-1B visas or that this wasn't a mistake because Cruz admits it. Cruz and Rubio are actual Christians, see, which means they understand that human beings are fallible and make mistakes, and that admitting your mistakes is part of what makes you a quality person.
Donald Trump also has an infallible god, and his name is Donald Trump, and all who follow him must accept this truth. Watch Trump spokesman Corey Lewandowski flat out lie and say that Trump never said that he needed to "get a little establishment." Credit for finding this video goes to the Right Scoop.
Berman: It's just, do you agree with Donald Trump that you need to be a little bit establishment?
Lewandowski: He didn't say we need to be a little bit establishment..
Berman: He did!
Lewandowski: What he said is you need to put people in a room to get things done. What we need to do is to fix anything, people are so..
Berman: (checking notes) Isn't that what he literally said?

There will be a lot of this, knowing the source is a running-off-at-the-mouth crude liberal who want to simultaneously hide his liberalism, bad-mouth anyone who doesn’t worship at his feet, and try to appeal to the voters.
Yes. I heard it and immediately understood it.
What’s hard about this?
There’s another thread today: “Trump:”I could stand in the middle of 5th avenue and shoot people and I wouldnât lose voters.””
Some idiots are taking that literally, when it’s actually hyperbole intended as humor. Why are they doing that? Because they’re desperately looking for some way to bring him down.
Why are they desperate?
Because they’re getting handed their heads in this race.
(That doesn’t mean people are being beheaded, btw.)
Leon H. Wolf spends every hour of every day writing anti-Trump articles.
Is Leon H. Wolf an actual person, or a pen name used by a group of writers?
Meh, all of these hit pieces whether it be against Cruz or Trump are designed to pave the way for Bush or Rubio.
We have two potential candidates who will upset the DC cabal and that can’t happen if the elitist can help it.
There are so many here willing to help see this accomplished, why so many are playing into their hands is beyond me.
That’s one explanation, I happen to disagree strongly.
Then there is Gahanna's 4 points to win. !. They ignore you.
2. Then they make fun of you.
3. Next they fight you.
4. Then you win.
You should be more concerned that a man NOT born on American soil thinks he can be President.
That is priceless!!
Consider it stolen and thanks, I really needed that laugh!!
What a surprise! Yet another Trump bashing thread on FR. How many does this make this morning? 20? 30?
Donald Trump also has an infallible god, and his name is Donald Trump, and all who follow him must accept this truth.
When 'stories' have statements like these, the author is revealed as a hack reinforcing my opinion that the article and the web site are not serious sources of valuable information.
How dare that man change his positions as if they were his to change.
I suggest reading Emerson’s Essay on Self-Reliance.
Cruz has spend a ton of time in Iowa and blew it. He has no idea how to win but he is EXCELLENT at burning bridges. One only needs to look at the venom of his supporters.
Both those threads were pulled too....even admin is getting tired of this crap.
That’s exactly how I took what trump was saying. He is relating to the lay man that yes sometimes we are gonna have to sit with those other guys (establishment) to push the people agenda. Because if it’s one think I know that if he goes all the way he owes only the public that put him there. I am quite interested and excited to see where this change in political culture will take us. This would be a real revolution.
LOL! If Trumps goes much higher in the polls Leon Wolf is going to swallow his tongue. :-)
“When they get bad information about Trump:
1. Deny it - Claim it is false or attack the medium.
2. Deflection
3. Delay
4. Then say it doesn’t matter”
I save time and go right to step 4 - particularly when, like this so-called “article”, it’s simply some raving loon with acute TDS.
At most political events there is the venue for the audience, a room for reporters to file stories (mostly pre-written with spaces for quotes and reactions), and the spin room where campaign staff scramble to explain what their guy just said.
Guess Trump is now running a regular campaign.
So, this post #4. Point 1 was illustrated in post #5 and Point 2 in post #6. I haven't read any further than that but I'm sure that point 4 is illustrated as well.
Lets put it a different way. I been asking libs what did Trump say that angered you? This has been a trick question because NONE have quoted Trump yet.
