Petraeus Prosecuted - Why Not Hillary?
American Thinker ^ | January 23, 2016 | Daniel John Sobieski

In was an interesting coincidence that as the Intelligence Community Inspector General Charles McCullough III was writing to the heads of the House and Senate Intelligence committees, among others, that Hillary Clinton had above-top-secret SAP (Special Access Programs) information on her private email server, Defense Secretary Ashton Carter, the Daily Beast reports, is preparing to demote Gen. David Petraeus, former CENTCOM commander and CIA chief for mishandling similar SAP information while in uniform.

Does anyone really need to ask? Hillary is above the law. Laws are for little people.

Petraeus should be demoted. What do you think would happen to a non-com who did what he did?

Hillary should be prosecuted, found guilty and imprisoned.

But that won’t happen.

Something I’ve wondered about ... Do the people who sent Hilary classified emails to her clinton email address have any culpability? You’d think at least some of them would have noticed it wasn’t a .gov address and would have asked if it was secure before sending.

Even if Hillary was completely innocent in receiving unsolicited e-mails containing classified information (which she is not), she committed worse crimes than Petraeus first by holding on to the emails after she resigned as Secretary of State and then by turning her server over to her flunkies to sort through the emails to decide what to turn over and what to erase.

If no classifications were existing on the pasted documents to Hillary...how would she know they were secret or top secret? So, she could....just say she didn’t know, and pass it along to Sid. Sid in my opinion....is the least likely of anyone to be brought into fed court. He didn’t cut and paste anything, and just received emails. You can’t charge her on sharing something with Sid....if it’s not marked ‘secret’. I admit....it’s pretty stupid, but what judge will allow a court case occur where the missing markings are key?

I can remember in my military years, the countless times you had to go back and check the top and bottom labels of any message you drafted, and then check the beginning of each single paragraph. When cutting and pasting arrived in the 1987 time-period....you just knew that it’d save thousands of man-hours but start a ton of problems down the road.

IT WAS HILLARY CLINTON'S EMAIL SERVER AND EMAIL DOMAIN!

How are Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin going to take the fall for Hillary Clinton when they were sending emails to @clintonemail.com? When Mills and Abedin and every person who sent email to that address are arraigned in Federal Court and are facing hard time in Federal Prison, you don't think they will implicate the person who set the entire email system up to begin with and ordered them to use her email?

THIS ENTIRE EMAIL SCANDAL IS ALL HERS!

Not shouting at you but the only thing standing between Hillary Clinton (and many of her aides) and Federal Prison is the desire of the Justice Department to prosecute them.

Hillary won’t see a day behind bars. She’ll take the deal which means abandoning her campaign possibly because of medical issues.

****************************************************

Handicapped people are in prison too, sick people, dying people etc. Her “illness” may keep her from running but no reason to keep her out of prison.

All of the above is based on IF we had a fair and honest system, which we don’t.

There is an “air gap” between the secure network & Hilly’s unsecure server. This means the two systems literally cannot communicate with each other. The classified info had to be deliberately taken off the secure system and put into a ‘not classified’ system & sent to Hilly’s homebrew server. Who exactly did that? Probably Huma & Cheryl for starters ......

Not to put too fine a point on it, but HELL YES they have culpability. They are in violation of everything Hilly has violated ... at a minimum. Cheryl, Huma .... plus a bunch of others. It has also come out that others in the State Department KNEW she had that illegal server & answered FOIA requests that they had nothing responsive .... plus of course, all the ‘classified’ issues. Hilly’s private server is a “black hole” and it will suck a lot of folks into it. One of the ‘experts’ (former prosecutors) said they will start with the “little” guys & work their way in to Hilly. Lots of folks should be very concerned about their own well-being (i.e. avoiding heavy jail time/fines) and some will potentially ‘tell all’ to save their own skins. The IT guy holds a lot of the keys & I’m sure his attorney is looking for a very good deal. What will happen to Hilly herself? Lots of opinions on that ... I’m going to wait & see.

It is largely irrelevant whether Hillary put the information on her server or not.

Knowing it is there and NOT reporting it is a felony in and of itself. Anyone who knew it was there and didn't report it is looking a very hard prison time.

TPTB are stuck between a rock and a hard place with regard to Hillary. I have no doubt she’ll get a pardon. We’ll never know the details. With all of the FBI leaks, the writing on the wall says she’s dead meat.

Except for the “little” people, her donations will dry up.

Hillary never set up the server. Nor (at least by what’s said so far)....did she sign anything to create the server. Mills and Abedin are the ones with names attached to the paperwork. They are the ones (and a few others) who will be facing the potential charges if it does occur.

As for taking the fall? I would imagine that their lawyers (likely paid for by the Clinton Foundation) have told them not to worry, and it will never occur.

The server and the domain will never go back to Hillary’s signature. Without that....it’s never to involve her in the court situation. At best, she did avoid the federal rules on retaining documents....but what can you rig up for charges? A fine of maybe $5,000? Both Mills and Abedin could be facing some months in a fed prison.

Just speculation on my part, but I suspect the FBI/DOJ will do some kind of legal gymnastics to avoid prosecuting her. They will probably admit there was Top Secret info on her server, but Hillary had “no intent” or something along those lines to release confidential information. Probably fine her for “misuse of government assets” or something silly like that. I just can’t see them going after her. Not in this administration, when she has a ton of stuff to bring down on Obama.

“Hillary never set up the server. Nor (at least by what she has said so far)....did she sign anything to create the server.”

So, Hillary got into the SecState position, and she didn’t know what email to use, so someone told her to use the @clintonemail domain, and she said, “Wow, there is an email service with my name on it. I wonder who that is?”

Give me a break. She has publicly admitted they owned the servers. She said they paid an IT guy to set everything up.

It is all hers.

In Hillary’s case....someone else...cut-and-paste the classified (not Hillary). It’s not proven if she gave such an order, which would have been illegal if given. In the general’s case...he’s openly lied. I’m not sure if the FBI has forced Hillary to give a statement yet, and what she said in the statement. There’s five or six people who did the executive support for Hillary and they are the ones who would be drawn into a federal court and face charges. My gut feeling is that about half-way through the primary period....the federal guys will bring some kind of charges up on her, and the primary season will fall apart. At that point, someone will come out of thin-air and be the one to get open votes at the convention.

You could not be more wrong. Merely having such information on an unsecured server is a crime.

Hillary’s actions could have far more serious consequences than Petraeous’s actions. Hillary knowingly stored government documents in a manner she had to have known that unfriendly countries could hack. Hillary’s acts come damn close to being treasonous or seditious.
