I don’t think it was her support of Romney. I think is was more her dissing of the TEa Party, and some pretty obscene articles. The things she said about Newt were bad.
i forget who appointed him.
that’s why you go with my people, the Italians :)
Alito, Scalia, who’s next?
we dont give a @##$ about the progressive movement.
we’re still semi recent, 2 or 3 generations in my neighborhood, and we have Great Pride and Love for the country we call home
being recent matters because you are told how bad the place you came from was at the time, compared to here!!
I no longer listen to Beck. Once I learned that he kept having Matt Bevin on to endorse him for Kentucky governor and that Matt Bevin’s hedge fund managed Beck’s money, I decided he is no better than the bigger networks who just have bigger money. Beck is trying to get Trump to give him money, that’s all. He gets louder and louder with the insults and figures Trump will pay him off. Sorry, Beck!
Sorry, I love Ann, but she got it wrong.....again.
No one is saying Trump is a “fake” Republican. They are saying he is a fake “Conservative.” Ann continues to think that being a Republican means you are a Conservative.
I’ve heard his interview at the 1988 repub convention is worth the view also.
Later today...
Helping someone who tugs at your heartstrings is all well and good. But there is a story out there about him vengefully cutting off medical coverage for a family member’s baby. Now I know there is always more to the story, and I have wondered if the child got the care it needed. What really bothered me was the fact that he seems to admit it and that he did that to a child because he was mad at the parents. If true it really does tell us what he is all about.
“I would trust Cruz way more on a few issues, particularly the appointment of judges[.]”
I’ve also given this a bit of thought. If the Donald is to reform immigration by, among other things, eliminating anchor babies, he’s going to need judges who will look closely at the 14th Amendment and its provision that citizenship is granted to persons born in the US to parents who are “subject to the jurisdiction” of the US. “Jurisdiction” as used in that context appears to refer to both physical jurisdiction and allegiance jurisdiction, allegiance jurisdiction being the idea that the child’s parents must legally owe their allegiance to the US and not another country. The only judge who’s likely to accept that interpretation of the 14th Amendment is a person who’s very strong on originalist construction. Thus, I think the Donald will appoint conservative judges and justices if he wants to enact his immigration program.
The subject of my comment was Beck, not Trump.
What part of my post do you think is ‘slander’? That Beck has given up alcohol? Or that he has been fired by a series of mentors for not cooperating with the 12 step program?
Or is it ‘slander’ to mention Beck’s painfully obvious delusions of grandeur? Please cite the ‘slander’ in my post.
The reason is simple. Who do we have higher expectations for? Our family and friends, that's who. When a stranger does something stupid you will probably comment and then move along. If it is someone close you you take it personal, usually as betrayal, almost treason.
Can you imagine the number of gold-diggers you have to deal with as a matter of course if you were in his shoes? Now imagine if the gold-diggers are in your family, or at least gold-digging lawyers backing members of your family against you. No-one except for a pathological masochistic pacifist dummy takes these things lying down.
I hope you don't actually believe some of the nonsense that his grand-nephew was left hanging without medical care! That whole thing *was* settled at some point.

It's a 'Dan Rather'/MSM/elite liberal dirty trick... but I suspect the GOP Establishment will use it... Ann's got their number.
Trump, however is like the big bully on the street. He’s already gone after just about everyone who crosses him, whether it’s by destroying them verbally like Clinton or suing them, as in Univision.
He’s fearless. He spend a lot of time talking about the press and how they distort.
There’s not anything out there other than his ruthlessness when he want’s something.
He plays to win. He always has.
If the whole thing was settled to the benefit of the child, great. I am not a Trump supporter, you can see by my posts. I think ill enough of him, but I didn’t want to add something untrue to his negative column.
There are always two sides to every story, and I have no opinion either way about what took place as long as the bottom line is, the child got what he needed, and it wasn’t up to the taxpayers to provide it.
Here’s the difference:
Bernie’s a good person with ideas that won’t work, have never worked anywhere, and lead to totalitarian nightmares.
Hillary’s a monster with horrible ideas. She and her husband are evil. Anything they touch is damaged.
Cruz is a good man - a man of thought... Many of his ideas are correct - well thought out ... but Cruz won’t be able to implement his idea. He’s not strong enough or flexible enough to overcome the democrat machine or the Republican Establishment.
Trump’s a strong workaholic. If he’s pointed in the right direction, nothing - absolutely NOTHING - will stop him. He’s the right person for this time, but like Churchill - once he’s saved the world - he’ll be dumped... And yeah, Trump will save the country if given a chance. And after that he’ll need to be put out to pasture.
You’re right...
Both the left and right want Trump out of the way to continue pushing amnesty. They will get dirty to stop him. Trump will deport Hispanics and stop Islamic immigration. They can’t handle that.
My mistake as I read Fai Mao and erroneously thought you were talking Trump. Yes, Beck is out of it. He damn sure is on something. I was wrong to not read your post thoroughly. My apologies.
