This article could be written about anybody being considered for VP. I don’t think we are going to know Trump’s choice until the summer. I think we will be very surprised. Just a gut feeling based on how unconventional this campaign season has been so far. Certainly one for the ages.
Nothing against Sarah, but I’m in favor of the guy who has fracked the most oil out of the ground being the energy secretary. Her background is media and small business. I’d like to see her double down on that. Lead with your strengths.
She’s a plus for the primaries and a negative for November.
I suspect Trump realizes this.
“Certainly there would be a role somewhere in the administration, if she wanted — and I’m not sure that she does want that-...”
Her background is in media and she would probably like to own NBC....but that ain't going to happen.
I think whoever Trump picks as his V.P. we are going to be very surprised and happy....
I do not remember specifics. But question of VP pick for 2016 election came up in FR awhile back. The problem is that announcing VP choice too early violates federal election laws.
Corrections welcome.
I think that Palin will campaign for him only during the primaries, and probably only in certain states. Once Trump has enough delegates to win the nomination on the first ballot, she’ll stop campaigning. We won’t see her at all beyond June, or even earlier, depending on when Trump wraps up enough delegates.
Trump didn’t “dodge” a damn thing.
It’s quite up in the air as to whether or not Governor Palin could get approved for a Cabinet position by the Senate.
Like Mr. Trump, she has a lot of detractors on both sides of the aisle. Plus, she’s raising a special needs child that requires a lot of extra care.
She may prefer to stay out of the swamp in Washington DC.
I wonder if Cruz would get asked if Glenn Beck will be his VP?
I love Sarah, but it’s a bad plan to run her for VP.
So, he won’t tell CNN who he wants as VP. But he’s “dodging” the question.
Ah, the scumbag media. They never quit. Not for an instant.
Yes, Sarah will not be the VP, but she will be in the cabinet. Secretary of the Interior would be a good choice.
This post I copied from hot Air has good points on why Cruz gets hit by Trump:
âThe establishment has been with Trump since damn near the beginning of his campaign.
Jeb Bush had so-so poll numbers from the outset, because they were split between Trump and Bush. When Bushââ¬â¢s went down, It was Trumps numbers that jumped up, because all the establishment voters abandoned Jeb and flocked to Trump. He likes to make deals, he has proven he has no problem crawling into bed with liberals.
Sure the (R) establishment types protest Trump here and there, when its the PC thing to do. Even Lindsey Graham has said Trump is trainable. IE: They can work with a guy that likes to make deals.
It only now when Trump feels he is inevitable that he openly admits the establishment (R)s are colluding with him behind the scenes.
Trump is not an outsider candidate. He is the ultimate insider. He has used his money to buy influence from both sides for years. They all know Trump will go along to get along if elected.
Why do so many Trump supporters HATE Cruz, Carson, and Paul? They are the 3 anti-establishment candidates in this race. There is no conservative that hates Cruz, Carson, or Paul. They might not support this one or that one at the moment. They might not like where they stand on this issue or that one, but they do not hate them. Only (R) establishment voters, and establishment politicians do.
i donââ¬â¢t see why the conservative pundits are not picking up on this and sounding the alarms.

My girlfriend(not politically astute or well read) assured me last night as I was watching Trump’s announcement that of course she got the nod.
More crap thrown on the wall by the MSM to both divide and feed the party most prone to eating their own.........
