I just finished watching Sarah Palin's endorsement of Donald Trump and I have some observations.
Sarah Palin is a rhetorical genius. Like her or not, she's really good at political rhetoric.
And, I hope Trump is PAYING her, she's worth $5mil a month during the primaries so hopefully he'll be paying her at least $3mil/month.
This endorsement matters. She bring more "blue collar" credibility and conservative "good enough" to put all other GOP challengers back on their heels looking for life support.
This endorsement likely is the death knell for the Cruz campaign. I think it now means Trump will win Iowa, something I was sure he had locked up. I even contended aggressively with fellow Freepers on this matter. I considered it an illusion that anyone besides Cruz could win Iowa, but now I believe it will be Trump.
And Sarah Palin will be the reason.
Without Iowa, Cruz has no campaign.
Flame away, but do as well as you can to keep it civil.
I love Sarah! I regret that the MSM savaged her in such a way that’s she was forced away from future candidacies. Make no mistake about it she frightens them. Unlike their pasty faced, anemic, flaccid support of America she is the real deal! The greatest fear of a phony is the real deal. She is. God bless America and the great legendary women she propagates!

I haven’t watched her speech yet but based on another freeper comment it was incoherent so I was tepid to go watch myself
He was doing the same thing that many of us did, he was trying to push Democrats toward Hillary away from Barack.
Heck, I sent Hillary a donation on that campaign during the primary. I did a spreadsheet of each and every donation that Trump made. Serious pols give money strategically. It helps to look at the date of the gift to understand the strategy.
Trump was willing to give Cruz the benefit of the doubt. Phyllis Schlafley has also given Trump the endorsement. Perhaps she is also no good, notwithstanding her commitment to conservatism since 1946.
She prefers Trump as do I. And if he wins, she will not be displaying a cracked compass. My biggest concern is muslim immigration and I believe Trump will do something about that. If he can cajole the idiot Congress.

Is THIS Why People Don’t like Cruz? [by Bristol Palin]

That’s the rumor, and I’ve been too busy with diapers to delve too much into politics these days. But the rumors were enough to cause staffers from Ted Cruz’s office to slam my mom.

[BTW ... unless they can prove corruption, I am going to have some fun with Palin bashers. FRegards....]
“Palin is there to help him win Iowa. I am guessing we will not hear much out of Palin after Iowa until much later in the campaign.”
I pray that’s true, and it was my initial thought. Trouble is, this isn’t the 1800s when endorsements were made locally and heard only locally. The entire world sees everything in real time. I wish there hadn’t been the big hype before she appeared — a “special” guest — which turned it into an event. Low-key is good here.
I couldn’t help but compare 2016 Sarah to 2008 Sarah. When McCain presented her, she was amazing — dressed like a professional, well spoken, and completely classy. Yesterday: None of those things. Since Trump has made great choices throughout the campaign so far, I’m trusting that he knows what he’s doing.
I love Sarah. I lived in Alaska for 20 years, and completely “get” her in that Alaskans aren’t much influenced by image, putting on airs, or political correctness; it’s WYSIWYG. (It’s the only truly free place I’ve ever lived.) People in other places usually don’t understand that honesty.
My “Palin 2012” shirt that I made several years ago always is a hit when I wear it out shopping. It’s old. It’s ratty. I won’t give it up!
