I just finished watching Sarah Palin's endorsement of Donald Trump and I have some observations.
Sarah Palin is a rhetorical genius. Like her or not, she's really good at political rhetoric.
And, I hope Trump is PAYING her, she's worth $5mil a month during the primaries so hopefully he'll be paying her at least $3mil/month.
This endorsement matters. She bring more "blue collar" credibility and conservative "good enough" to put all other GOP challengers back on their heels looking for life support.
This endorsement likely is the death knell for the Cruz campaign. I think it now means Trump will win Iowa, something I was sure he had locked up. I even contended aggressively with fellow Freepers on this matter. I considered it an illusion that anyone besides Cruz could win Iowa, but now I believe it will be Trump.
And Sarah Palin will be the reason.
Without Iowa, Cruz has no campaign.
Flame away, but do as well as you can to keep it civil.
God does have more to do with our lives than most people appreciate. I will remind you than on top of the Washington monument is the phrase, “In God We Trust.”
Exactly! Guess Daddy Palin isn’t good enough,,or maybe some feel it’s the woman’s “job” to stay home and not have a career.
As in most things, Cruz takes things in stride much better than his most devout followers. I am still a Cruz fan but will be voting Trump for the General. Trump IS The General!
Is it not sufficient that we know who they are and allow them to waste their time, energy and money here?

I think both Trump and Palin have lived plenty of ‘real life’ and did most of it out of the ‘reality tv’ sphere. How many best-selling books has Trump written now?
Agree. Cruz does not have the anger or hatred.
You do? Maybe. Speaking for myself, I'm upset because Palin just displayed a cracked political compass that I didn't see before, even having read her books. Why on earth she passed up Cruz is beyond my ken, but it remains reality that nonetheless, she chose the wrong guy in an obvious field of right and wrong choice for conservatism. I am surprised and disappointed.
That's why I'm upset.
I like Sarah too but I am still not voting for Trump. I can think for myself and know Trump will go along with the Democrats and RINO’s. He is bragging that mainstream Republicans are reaching out to him. They know he will go along with their plans better than Cruz. He has No core beliefs except loving himself. She made a mistake this time.

Trump camp is the real. The more his liberalism is exposed, the more you Trump people refuse to believe.
Besides Sarah Palin will be poison to Trump in the swing states in the General election. Independents hate Sarah Palin.
Still hoping Trump/Cruz ticket.
The few demonrats that would have come to Trump might get the jitters with her coming back into the limelight.

I just see Trump as a jingoistic populist with no foundation of core beliefs tapping into a group of people beaten down by 7 years of Obama pulling down the pants of and spanking their so-called leaders. He doesn’t support your core beliefs, but he makes you feel less impotent. Charisma has been substituted for principle.
As you can see, I am not the only one pointing out the very real person on this thread that is a problem.
I have no beef with you personally, but sometimes a t—ll is just a t—ll.

Tomorrow is the last day to register as a Republican in South Carolina, so today was better than later in the week. Every little bit helps.
