ATLANTA Donald Trump's 10-point lead over Ted Cruz among Georgia voters is as strong as anywhere in the country, according to a survey for Morris News Service released Monday.Trump claims one out of every three people questioned who said they plan to vote in the March 1 primary or 33 percent. Cruz has the allegiance of nearly one in four or 23 percent, up from 16 percent on Dec. 18.
The other candidates were in single digits in the survey of 803 likely voters conducted by automated callers to phones and mobile devices. It was conducted Sunday by OpinionSavvy in conjunction with InsiderAdvantage for Morris News and FOX5 Atlanta. The margin of error is 3.5 percent.
"Donald Trump continues to lead among every age group and across every segment of voter alignment, ranging from those who say they are very conservative to the few respondents who claim to be liberal," said Matt Towery, founder of InsiderAdvantage and a former Republican strategist. "Cruz continues to make progress in the numbers as well."
Trump leads among women, men, whites and blacks who took the survey. Trump came in second among Latinos to Marco Rubio.

Ditto—what you say!
Meh.
Hey, it’s a GA news item. I ping everything I see here GA related.
“most people not supporting trump now, are not gonna support trump later”
Uh, yeah. right.
“Well, Iâm a New Yorker married to a Canadian living in Georgia.”
Freak! [just kidding :-) I’m a North Carolinian married to a New Jerseyan living in Colorado.]
“If Trump is so far ahead and has an insurmountable lead...why is he going after Ted Cruz so ruthlessly???”
because Cruz is number two. that should be obvious.
Cruz and Trump with 56% of the vote more than the GOPe can muster from all the other candidates. We can win this thing IF we conservatives do not tear each other apart in the meantime. Let the best man win and full out support the other one!
This is below the previous poll out of GA (40) but this isn’t the same company. I’d like to see this same company’s previous poll.
Cruz has been #2 a long time....why now???
Wish most here thought the same way you do!
Ill advised maybe....but very true!!!
I was commenting on the article, not the ping.
Could not agree more. And honestly I believe both candidates will do that exact thing.....not so much some freepers!!!
As some of us have commented before, the coming RE-ACTION to the ongoing muzzie INVASION of the West could easily push the events in Nazi Germany into the back pages of future history books. Bill Whittle explains all of that — AND WHY TRUMP IS EN FUEGO — in this excellent and riveting 9 minute video.

Exactly. Unlike Cruz, Trump can afford to lose Iowa. However, Trump doesn't like losing. If he wins Iowa, it's all over.
Everybody we have met or know is voting Trump. I think GA is in the bag as is the the whole SEC.
good point, but human nature will turn those that trump has ridiculed to cruz... who remains the adult in the room.
and karl rove is backing rubio...
look for trump to offer the vp to cruz much like reagan to bush... however, it will be a lame attempt to be the nominee... he then will go third party and fall very flat.
finally shaving his head in disgust and divorcing his wife for someone twice her age.
You really think Georgia Republicans will turn out to vote for a Democrat in the Republican primary?
STILL voting for Cruz.
