Is this how "Europe" ends?
The Germans, founders and funders of the postwar union, shut their borders to refugees in a bid for political survival by the chancellor who let in a million migrants. And then -- why not? -- they decide to revive the Deutschmark while they're at it.
That is not the fantasy of diehard Eurosceptics but a real fear articulated at the highest levels in Berlin and Brussels.
Chancellor Angela Merkel, her ratings hit by crimes blamed on asylum seekers at New Year parties in Cologne, and EU chief executive Jean-Claude Juncker both said as much last week.
Juncker echoed Merkel in warning that the central economic achievements of the common market and the euro are at risk from incoherent, nationalistic reactions to migration and other crises. He renewed warnings that Europe is on its "last chance", even if he still hoped it was not "at the beginning of the end".
Merkel, facing trouble among her conservative supporters as much as from opponents, called Europe "vulnerable" and the fate of the euro "directly linked" to resolving the migration crisis -- highlighting the risk of at the very least serious economic turbulence if not a formal dismantling of EU institutions.

It is good to remember that in many, many countries, such as France, the Muslim populations are centered around ghettos based on their ethnicity. Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. Therefore, they exercise more power than their national average would indicate.

In the Bible, God prophesied that Ishmael and his descendants would be wild and fight with everyone. This prediction has held true throughout history. Will the world ever have peace with Ishmael? Will Ishmael even find peace himself? Deep down, don’t we all want the same things (love, peace, acceptance)? I wonder how much longer we will have to wait before real peace comes to humanity.

I've been seeing lots of comments in the Daily Mail from Americans who say they've already changed their travel plans to exclude western Europe.
Tourism (and tourist dollars) is going to shrink to a tiny fraction of what's normal for those countries. Their stupid leaders brought it upon them. Now let's see what the political costs will be. I expect a severe turn to the right in all their upcoming elections.
I see these “migrants” as a involuntary suicide squad with plants from ISIS.
The mission: Provoke incidents that will lead to a bloodbath.
ISIS will then activate their actual armed sleepers and will retaliate in an effort to “protect” their fellow Muslims.
The hope will be to then get the Muslims there to flock to their banner, get arms, and really start the invasion.

The overly simple views of the left is an international problem.
Take communism as an example. Marx and Engels were German. They lived many years in England. They admired the French Revolution and wanted to perpetuate it across the world endlessly. Lenin learned from Marx and conquered Russia and, with Stalin, the 14 non-Russian nations of the Soviet “Union.”
Hollywood has hardly made any anti-communist movies. FDR was more worried about Churchill than Stalin. When Obama first ran for the Presidency, the US Communist Party was delirious with joy - their man would become President! They have supported him ever since.
On a personal note, whenever I tell a liberal, or “moderate” Republican, that Ronald Reagan defeated the Soviet Union, I always get some kind of push-back. The responses are quite humorous and bizarre. Try it out for fun.

I am a little mystified by the equation of open internal borders and a common currency, or more specifically why the sources quoted appear to think the latter impossible in the absence of the former. I'm an American making American assumptions about the thing, of course, but it strikes me that were an internal passport imposed on the United States (and it has been suggested) the bullets would be flying long before the dollar were affected. There is no history of such a thing in the United States, moreover, and in Europe there is.
Nevertheless, the elephant in the room is that this is clearly not a conventional refugee situation, the population is too large and the demographics are too obviously skewed toward fighting-age males, and that none of the EU elites appear to wish to address that. Worse, those leaders who do - Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic - are publicly branded monsters of oppression.
One hesitates to start throwing words like "conspiracy" around, but suggestions that there is some sort of consensus within European elites that the demographics of Europe must be altered by force, perhaps in the interest of reducing that old bugaboo, nationalism, are met with contemptuous dismissal but no real convincing denial. To an outsider it does appear that a decision has been reached to reduce nationalism by demographics, and it also appears that what will replace it is not some gooey global chumship but a completely different form of internationalism that is theocratic and highly aggressive. In the absence of further information the conclusion is inescapable that the elites haven't thought this thing through, and if they wait much longer to reconsider they'll be presented with a fait accompli. Effective political tactics in the pursuit of a catastrophic strategy.
Normally they would (and have) had trips to Paris, Germany, Spain.
I see that the recent prizes have been: Ireland, Switzerland, Costa Rica, and... the exotic foreign land known as Canada.
