One of the United States' most influential evangelical leaders blasted Liberty University President Jerry Falwell, Jr. on Monday for hosting Donald Trump to give a campaign speech.
Russell Moore, who heads the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, the public policy arm of the Southern Baptist Convention, let fly a series of tweets after Falwell gave a glowing introduction to Trump, calling him "one of the greatest visionaries of our time" and saying Trump "lives a life of helping others ... as Jesus taught in the New Testament."
Moore appeared incredulous at Falwell's language, which was more effusive than he had been with any other candidate, including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz:
wow
Yeah, that will be a plus for democrats a lose for us.
How sickening.
I’m sorry you were upset. They were wonderful comments, clearly he likes and respects Mr. Trump. That is his right is it not?
Don’t you help others? I do.
Amen. Thank you. People nitpick on the silliest things.
Rush said it. OMG it must be correct! LOL
agreed, they need to fight on he sues, not ad hominem. Don’t let their supporters dissuade you from a candidate either way.
I listened to Rush and he did not say it.
Rush was making fun of the way Trump said the Bible is number one but The Art of the Deal is number two.
Thanks. I was wondering what he had done. It makes sense now.
He did. Read the transcript. He said it to prove a point that nobody in the audience winced.
Be fair and YAAAAAAWWNN............ about both.
absolutely correct to criticize
He did not. I listened to both the speech and Rush.
First Timothy 4
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron
OK, thanks for the quote, now how about a Holy-Spirit guided application
“Russell Moore, who heads the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, the public policy arm of the Southern Baptist Convention,”
WHEN are you Cruz people going to admit that everyone supporting Cruz supports this foreign invasion? I suspect some of you know it, and like the idea.
Of course he dislikes Trump and likes Cruz! Moore and his BS outfit PUSH AMNESTY! When they are hooked up with NORQUIST, it means amnesty, more cheap labor, more illegal aliens, bad trade like TPP

Moore and his outfit is who likely gets $$ to help settle refugees from Obama.
YOUR tagline: (Trump: We will have to leave borders behind a go for global unity)
About your tag line...it is a distortion of the quote and taken out of context.
“Trump: We will have to leave borders behind a go for global unity”
Dems pulled that line out of this article which he pretends that Trump is talking about immigration...it is NOT!
The entire article is about INVESTING, it mentions NOTHING about immigration! The question is do YOU think we should be able to INVEST outside our borders??
WHY you are allowed post after post to be this dishonest is beyond me.
So much for ‘bearing false witness’!
As I said earlier, which you ignored and continued to lie to the good people here on FR!

What? I read your link...the word ‘immigration’ isn’t even mentioned.
Trump says this: “so the bottom line must be balance. Rationality must rule. There are philosophical approaches to economics. However, at this point, we don’t so much need philosophy as we need action. Which way to proceed is the question.”
He’s talking about INVESTING in Europe and outside our borders not opening them to illegal immigration. He is NOT even talking about immigration! Read.
Weak, demshateGod, really weak.

Wow!
I wonder if he is making money off of housing the immigrant “children”.
I know some religious groups are up to their eyeballs in it.
