The CSU, which Seehofer heads, is technically a different party than the CDU which spawned Merkel.

Seehofer's ultimate "trump" card is an outright alliance with AfD, which may occur anyway.

He's already hosted Viktor Orban twice to Munich "receptions".

Uh oh! When the Germans start clamoring for “order” you know the proverbial stuff is about to hit the fan.

???
An ally of hers said this?
Color me skeptical, it might be a cynical ploy to try and get in front of the issue and pretend to be doing something about it.

US liberals are immature and crazy, but Merk and her regime appear to be a certain intentional kind of wicked crazy. She’s either being paid under the table big time or possessed by Satan.

Signs of unrest are showing up on the liberal forums, they’ve started to see that this mess will hurt them politically.

If my count is correct, CSU has 67 seats. Even without them, the CDU/SPD would have 436 seats out of 630, so it wouldn’t bring the center-left government down. They’d have to get about half of the CDU to break ranks to bring Merkel down.

Forget legal action to stop the Muslim invasion.

What Germany needs right now is direct action.

Is Merkel a Muslim and/or evil?

Look up the word “frump” in any dictionary. You’ll see Frau Merkel’s photo posted as the example.

From my anecdotal exchanges with my Bavarian neighbors, I can confirm that the mood shift is continuing, even accelerating, with more and more Germans becoming upset over the refugee situation. I would say that the dichotomy between men and women continues, that is women are far more tolerant of Merkel's refugee policy than are men.

I was quite surprised to hear a degree of outrage because the press had suppressed much of the news from Cologne and from neighboring northern German cities. Even in our little Bavarian villages problems have developed with Muslims being banned from certain restaurants because they have caused disruptions. There've been incidents all around the area. The attitude expressed was that the people are being manipulated by the government and the press

I have long believed that the press in Germany is entirely too influential and politically correct, hence German attitudes about America mirror almost perfectly the left ranges of the American Democrat party. So to hear these remarks was both surprising and encouraging.

There is even a sense that political correctness is taking ominous form as people expressed fears that they must be very circumspect in their language or face unspecified consequences.
