And lets see what has happened over the last few months...Carson is no longer a contender and Trump is back to #1 in Iowa. Cruz has now begun his downward spiral.

“After all we have been through as a city and as one undivided nation, to have a United States senator running for President paint New York as a city consumed with greed, sin and media obsession is shocking. Sen. TED CRUZ SHOULD APOLOGIZE to the people of New York for his remarks and to the people of the United States for his crass attempt to divide us. And whatever our inclinations in the presidential race, all of us should be proud of Donald Trump’s strong, truthful and eloquent defense of our great city and nation.”

uhhhh.....I think you can find better quotes in your unending quest to slam The Donald. Trump said "how stupid are the voters?", a rhetorical question to challenge voters who supported Dr. Carson. He did not say the voters are stupid. Cruz gave a definitive statement that offended millions of people, including New Yorkers at heart, but living and voting all over the country.

Cruz's "New York" comment is of the same caliber as Romney's lower-47% comment. It shows a disdain for a huge segment of the population.

Not to be outdone, attempting to prove if Cruz can cast an insult Trump can insult better, Stupid (trumps) NY values.

The meaning of NY Values has a vast amount of wiggle room, but STUPID not so much.

When Trump played what some call the 9/11 card he lied.

The responders of years ago don’t represent New York Values. As a matter of fact, current New York values devalue the responders. The mayor and his police commissioner value the black thugs more than the cops.

the true New York values are far leftist ideology that has not the remotest association with the gallant few that charged up the stairs. New York Values are in fact a stain on America. It was New York Values that provoked the planes flying into the building

In short, New York Values can be summed up as sin
