Cruz slams Trump for holding ‘New York values’
New York Post ^ | January 13, 2016 | Geoff Earle

Cruz told the Howie Carr radio show that Trump should stop playing Born in the USA at his rallies a song thats an obvious dig at the Canadian-born Texas senator.

I think he may shift in his new rallies to playing New York, New York because Donald comes from New York and he embodies New York values, Cruz said on the show Tuesday.

The comment wasnt intended as a compliment.

Cruz supporters in Iowa have been testing possible attack lines against Trump in a telephone poll and one of them brands the GOP presidential front-runner as a New York liberal.

After this, Cruz numbers to crash like the stock market.

I hope so. A good possibility.

And now I guess we'll have to wait and see what Ted's push pollers recommend to him next to throw at Trump.

Keep wishing, he’s turning it around already with his “apology”. I wonder if he had the “apology” planned ahead of time to sucker people like you (and the leftist politicians you evidently love so much).

He better be running for whatever Ted Cruz values and stances on key issues are. This NY values BS is a push poll straw man conjured up by a desperate campaign.

To be fair, maybe Canadian schools didn’t teach that New York is part of the USA.

Yeah, as opposed to the Third World, Socialist and Muslim values that seem to have a lot of influence in the current administration. If that is what you meant.

No, the heartland heard that loud and clear. And he was right to say it.

I will vote for Trump in the primary and in the general election, but I known exactly what Cruz was talking about. I lived I Manhattan for about four years in the 1950s.

One really does represent the culture of New York. The other does not represent the culture of Houston.

I know you’re not stupid.

California values do not represent the minority of conservative people in this state. But you already know that. Why play obtuse?

So what?

Why do you think we have an upside down state? Any guesses, perhaps just one?

We haven’t had a serious presidential contender fight for the state since Bush the elder.

What Conservative money is raised in the state is immediately taken out of the state and used back East.

What Conservatives we do get on a ticket, the GOPe fails to support them verbally, with funds, or with any well known names.

Our guys ride around on buses while the Democrat candidates fly around in corporate jets.

It’s a real hoot to watch the DNC send out major players, big bucks, and support their guys, while our side does bupkis for our candidates.

Ask Simon how that worked out for him.

He spent about $2 million on his campaign while Davis outspent him over 10 to 1.

"One really does represent the culture of New York. The other does not represent the culture of Houston."

You don't know much about Houston, do you?

To learn more about the culture of Houston, do a Google "image" search for the following terms together, without the parens, and learn about their culture:

( Houston gay pride )
(Many of the photos that come back from that search are too filthy and obscene to post here on FR.)  You might also want to try that same kind of Google "image" search, again without the parens, for the following two Texas cities:

( Dallas gay pride )
and
( Austin gay pride )
They are every bit as infested with perverts (proportionally speaking) as NYC, as are most American big cities.   (Do an image search like that on all large American cities, in every state, and see for yourself.)

However, that public cultural perversion and liberalism of the big city mayors like Houston's and New York City's, and large numbers of their citizens, is not indicative of the values of the people who live in those cities.   Often, democrat "machines" in big cities develop ways to use fraud and cheating to steal every election (with dead people, illegal aliens, and other "voters" voting early and often for the chosen leftist candidate).

You would not say that American values stink just because Obama somehow managed to be elected here, would you?

Values are an individual thing, and there are many New Yorkers with great values, just like there are many Texans with great values, and many other Americans with great values, but not all of them anywhere.
