Billionaire Donald J. Trump, an early presidential favorite among tea party activists, has a highly unusual history of political contributions for a prospective Republican candidate: He has given most of his money to the other side. ..... Former congressman Thomas M. Davis III (Va.), who served as chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, said Trumpâs close ties to some Democrats would be "a huge obstacle, but itâs not insurmountable." Trump, he added, would not be running as a "purity" candidate.

As a businessman I would hope one would donate to both parties. Greasing a few palms makes the job easier.

Giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democrats in-state makes Trump a Liberal.
Giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to Republican out of state makes him...
Wait a minute...

Trump donates to Rahm Emanuel, Terry McCaulliffe, Clintons, ohhh but but he also donates to Republicans right because he’s a business guy...yes, yes to Karl Roves Crossroads PAC and other RINO groups.
Donalds conservative mask is off, the real face is Donald the Northeast liberal Bill Clinton loving Democrat.

Sure. A businessman gives money to politicians, is this news to you? And that in NYC and other areas where Trump has invested, the politians tend to be Democrats?

Reagan was a Dem until he was 53 years old...and a liberal.

His representatives did not respond to requests for comment Tuesday. But Trump said in a recent interview that he had relatively few Republican options in an overwhelmingly blue state. "Everyone's Democratic," he told Fox News in an interview about his potential candidacy.Makes Ted Cruz's "New York values" case for him, doesn't it?

I don’t care what business I owned, I couldn’t give a dime to most of the people on his donor list, including the republicans but especially the democrats.

I bet Trump has lots of dirt on Hillary from his NYC political connections. And he is not afraid to use it.
Cruz has already said he won't go after Bill Clinton and the abuse of women. He would rather concentrate on substance. Another reason to support Trump who is a street fighter and will do anything to win.
