Winston Churchill was in line to be Duke until one of them married a Vanderbilt, had an heir and spare, and then that person became Duke. So yeah, a Duke would be eligible if Cruz is providing they did the residency requirement.
Think it wasn’t brought up in his senate race?
I’m not in TX but wonder if it was an issue then....
Rubio just swung the bitter clingers club.... LOL
Hadn’t thought of it that way. Brilliant speculation.
Over on Drudge, Trump and Cruz are combining for nearly 90% (of who won the debate). Poor Jebbie...he’s at a microscopic 1.4%.
Sounds like he brought 'em together pretty well. Did you notice the volume of his cheers (and Trump's boos?)
Rubio is the GOPe darling...
every time he takes a breathe the crowd swoons...
I agree. Softballs for baby fast talker.
I agree.
Cruz doesn’t have one iota of the charm that Reagan did. He can’t pull it off, imho.
Ted Cruz was very disingenuous when he said some might claim that Trump would be ineligible because the his mother was born in Scotland and both parents were not born on American soil. He has absolutely no scholar who believes that...total disingenuous argument.
But he knows that is NOT the standard.
If Cruz knew Trump's mother was not born in America, how did he NOT know Trump's mother naturalized before Trump was born, thus making Trump an NBC?
Some constitutional expert.
Christie nailing it on 2nd amendment and kicking Obama in the place where other guys have cojones
Rubio repeating Dear Leaders “bitter clingers” campaign promise. They needs to be repeated and repeated. He said that when he (BHO) LOST the Pa primary to Hillary.
Christie calling Barry a petulant child.
Are you a women?
You may be right about the Trump Cruz feud being media BS but Trump is making me nervous flinging everything all of a sudden at Cruz. It is very Clintonesque.
hate her for that
never forget
Deo Vindice
One of the idiot ideas is a natural born citizen must be born in this country with two parents born in this country. That is what Cruz was commenting on. If that is the criteria, Trump is not eligible. Now, that is wrong but that is one of the nut caseâs theory.
The other side is going to have his ass, and I honestly believe that if he doesn’t resolve this, Cruz deserves what is surely coming. The only thing I object to Cruz is taking the rest of us along on this bullet train to nowhere..He is disingenuous at best..just like obama.
