Washington, DC -- Barack Obama's approval continues to climb to 48% (Fieldwork conducted before and after the SOTU address).

Republican Primary

Less than a month before the primaries begin, Donald Trump continues to lead among Republicans nationwide at 28% [38%] among all self-identified Republicans.

• Ted Cruz remains in second with 14% nationally among Republicans.

Democratic Primary

Hillary Clinton remains solidly in the lead among Democrats nationwide, with 54% of Dems.

• Sanders (35%) remains in second place among Democrats.

There is no way that Obama Aporoval is at 48%. That poll has to be inaccurate.

But, it is great to see Trump pulling away and leading the GOP pack!

I’ve heard rumors that an Ipsos poll is coming out of Iowa today or tomorrow showing Trump up by 5. No confirm just heard it may be coming.

I knew Cruz’ connections to GS was a problem long ago. I fully supported him for the Senate but when I am looking for a President I don’t want any connections to that evil firm.Goldman always likes to have a point person in the WH:
Robert Rubin, Hank Paulson for instance.

I know the Gravis poll came out yesterday but thought there was a second coming to confirm that movement. I’ll keep checking Huffpost pollster. They are a much better aggregator of polls than RCP. RCP picks and chooses what they want, Huff Post includes everything.
