Anyone with a dog already knows this.
Its one reason I stopped watching football - my dog couldn't take it.

I believe it. My dogs were always sad with me. It was if they just knew when I was not happy. I love them all.

No more than Cats do. In fact, the cats here only suggest what they need and I either get it for them or they get it themselves.
Cats rule, dogs follow.

Beasts have instincts and can adapt to their environment. Anthropomorphizing them will result in treating them as humans, which will criminalize medical testing and euthanasia on them. May be it will legalize aborting puppies.

Most critter know when you are pissed.
Dogs know when you are happy, when you are sad, when you are not feeling well.

They are the only creatures outside of humans who have been observed to have that ability. Haven't spent much time around horses, either, have they?
Sheesh.

Apparently these jerks/idiots never lived on a farm.
“They are the only creatures outside of humans who have been observed to have that ability.”
Cows can tell when you are aggressive or kind.
Horses and donkeys know when you are scared.
Chickens know when you love them by cuddling under your armpit.
Pigs and hogs know when you are vulnerable and protect you.
A fawn knows if you are non-thresatening.
Wolves can tell if you are scared.
A skunk knows if you love him or not by not squirting you.
A fisher is unpredictable.
A sparrow will land on your head if you are over 75 and reminiscing .
A garter snake will not slither away if he knows you are friendly.
An elephant knows everything about you and they never forget it.
A cat will get jealous and pout if he/she thinks you do not love them more than other cats or dogs.
Dolphins are way up there with the dogs.
Black panthers can tell if you are really stupid, scared or not, at night.

This is true. We lost a son 30 years ago. We had 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks at the time. Very quickly those dogs started guarding us like never before. They had never left our unfenced yard before but their circle of protection got larger and larger. One or the other was at my side 24 hours a day. Good dogs.

I’m sure others have found this to be true....
My dog will sit at the window a minute or two BEFORE my wife drives into the driveway from work....
... And yes she has a different schedule almost everyday....
It’s like they have ESP...

Actually, studies are now showing that horses are very good at reading human emotions too. But any horse person already knows this!
