New polling data from Reuters finds a nationwide toss-up 2016 contest between GOP frontrunner Donald Trump and Democrat frontrunner Hillary Clinton - but he's beating her by 20 points, 46 percent to 26 percent, among white working-class voters.
That's up from a five-point lead in mid-December. Trump's January lead is so huge, in fact, that Hillary just barely edges out the option "don't know."

Repubs have a golden opportunity to take a huge piece of the democrat base, and make it Republican for decades.

Well, they’ve voted for plenty of women for governorships and Congress. If you’re saying there is something unique about the Presidency that means they won’t for a female President, I don’t know how there can be evidence supporting that given that no woman has ever won the nomination.

This is the nightmare scenario for the Democrats-—large segments of their fragile coalition defecting to become Trump Democrats. Low income and union whites are already beginning to defect over the ‘complete transormation of America’ that Obama brought into their party as a goal. They are just now beginning to realize that their American values are being trashed by Obama and their elitists leaders. How many of them are “bitter, clinging to their religion and guns.”?
The mystery is the Democrats recent affection for Muslims. Resolutions in Congress to protect Muslims from hate speech but nothing about the growing anti-Semitic sentiment against Jews in the extreme Left? If they think they will be able to replace the Jewish voting and financing component with Muslims in the Democrat coalition, they are completely looney-toon. And you cannot expect to hold the LGBT groups in the Dem coalition if the leaders in the Dem Party persist in this love affair with Muslims.
