What NFL team did he play for?
Except for ex-Vikes HC Bud Grant who, at age 88, walked out to the coin toss yesterday in a polo shirt.
Flag Football League!
Are the players gone soft or the team owners or the fans, who knows who or what he is talking about as per usual in such general terms, I think I get it now it is the football ie Deflate-Gate.
Sorry, I don’t buy it.
NFL has become more brutal than ever. Steelers/Bengals game for example.......
Ever listen to Rush Limbaugh much?
Believe me, I'll tell you, I would be the BEST NFL Commissioner they have ever had... NOBODY... would be a better commissioner than me. They have what, 90% of the league are black? Blacks LOVE me! They really do, you know...
I blame domed stadiums and artificial turf. Football was meant to be played in the elements. Now we have stadiums with Victoria’s Secret stores in them.
What, the super successful (did I mention, RICH) Donald Trump criticizing the NFL?
Let’s see, failed at casinos and strip clubs in Atlantic City. Let others pay the bill in the end.
Failed at “Trump Shuttle” - drove the prize of Eastern Airlines into the dirt.
Failed at football. USFL was a joke.
And yet, to his supporters, he is a genius (did I mention that he is the smartest person to ever run for President - maybe in the smartest in human history). Did I mention his virgin birth and the miracles that he performs on a regular basis? Sure, I am going to listen to this NYC blowhard when he talks about the NFL being to weak. /sarc
I don’t think Trump really has the physical experience to suggest that the NFL is soft.
Did he watch the games on Saturday? Or in the cold yesterday?
Soft is not a word that I would use.
Football is softer today (though players are bigger) but its not really confined to football. It’s all of society, in general, has gone softer and more pc and sensitive. Almost seems anyone getting injured in the NFL now is treated metaphorically the same as a college student being subjected to being offended. In either case, we need to coddle and provide a “safe space”.
I would like to see Trump get nailed by some 320 pound lineman and then tell us how soft it’s become.
They had to put in so many rules to protect the safety of the players because of DIRTY HITS.
In the olden days you would never see a total blindside of a player running full-tilt- you would see a clean tackle.
But to absolutely bulldoze a player that’s not looking or prepared is DIRTY and should result in the player being EXPELLED FROM FOOTBALL (not just the game)
They could do a lot to save the sport if they would just ANNOUNCE a new rule stating that a dirty hit gets immediate ejection
There’s nothing soft about wanting to protect your investments. Trump should understand that.
Sure. Multiple concussions are so cool.
