Donald Trump may be the only person in America, outside of the residents of Cincinnati and Minneapolis, who has watched these NFL playoffs and doesn't like what he sees.
"Football has become soft like our country has become soft," the GOP presidential frontrunner told a campaign rally in Reno, Nevada on Sunday. "We're going soft, just like the NFL, we're going soft."

They had to put in so many rules to protect the safety of the players because of DIRTY HITS.
In the olden days you would never see a total blindside of a player running full-tilt- you would see a clean tackle.
But to absolutely bulldoze a player that’s not looking or prepared is DIRTY and should result in the player being EXPELLED FROM FOOTBALL (not just the game)
They could do a lot to save the sport if they would just ANNOUNCE a new rule stating that a dirty hit gets immediate ejection
LOL, Minnesota must have seemed like Miami Beach to Bud.
That's pretty much how I see it. For all intents and purposes, the Seahawks-Panthers game is the NFC Championship Game.
There’s nothing soft about wanting to protect your investments. Trump should understand that.
That picture says it all .
Went pretty much the way I expected it to. We were a mess at the end of the year, still cleaning up the Muschamp garbage.
I just feel sorry for South Carolina fans, they have no idea what they're in for.
Exactly. The NFL's player safety rules have gotten more stringent for the same reason that left tackles are among the highest paid players on the field.
Considering you only have Bernie to look to for "entertainment in VT," Brady's a good diversion! Ha ha.
Sure. Multiple concussions are so cool.
UM scoring more than any other team on that very good defense surprised me. Until the late second quarter interception, the Florida QB played really well.
I'm not sure what Florida fans think about the future, but I know UM fans are really excited.
Yeah, but most of the defensive players cared more about their upcoming NFL Draft Position than that game.
As far as Florida’s future....I don’t know yet. I want to say there was progress but it looked pretty bad at the end. We’ll see what kind of recruiting class McElwain gets and what he does now that the Muschamp garbage is gone.
We’ll see how far Florida has progressed when Florida and Michigan come here to Dallas for the 2017 opener. I will definitely be at that game.
They were schooled, fooled, and made to look inferior.
Hopefully they will look better in the combine.
Ha ha. If I was stupid enough to live in VT it might be funny
But I don’t.
Yeah Muschamp wasn’t exactly a character builder.
Barring some big change from outer space, UM should be starting to fire on all cylinders then, and both teams will have had two years of the same head coach.
Nice one Cape... :)
