Wouldn’t be terribly surprised if Rodney suicides. He’s not had the best time of late and he’s not got many friends left from all reports.

Leftovers from a schoolyard fight as a child. Same thing with the discolored iris.

My wife is one of his biggest German fans. She finally got to meet him when she interviewed him for a magazine about a dozen years ago. It’s a very sad day.

I have always wanted to see a Hi-Def version of that video.

I know what you mean. Somehow it makes me want to hear his music though. This was my 2nd favorite Bowie tune for anyone else who feels that way...

I read it was the result of a school yard fight over a girl.

None that I know of.
From back in the golden age of MTV, when real video recorders were used I believe.
The only “Hi-def” would have been an aspiring rap band, back then.

There are so many 80’s rock videos I would love to watch in Hi-Def.

A great artist of song and movies and theater. He was never political but only a great artist.
By his actions and statements I have absolutely no idea of his sexuality or politics and they are absolutely irrelevant to his life. His wife Imam is absolutely gorgeous. He gave us joy and sometimes a question of insight into society. Although he was a rock star of music, his greatest act was in the movie, “The Man Who Fell to Earth.” It was brilliant. If you do not understand that movie do not ask, you would not understand.
I will miss his very great talents on stage, movies and music. I liked David Boui. He will be missed by many.

I guess your mileage varies. I (tried to) watch that ten minute video he put out before the album release, and I felt like I was in an alternate universe not of my own choosing. Or inside the mind of a raving liberal. I can see them wandering though existence with that playing behind their eyes all day.

A definite favorite!
That was actually Crosby’s last television appearance as he passed away 5 weeks later. Amazing what great shape his voice was still in!
