"Dizzy, I'm so dizzy, my head is spinning..."
Yeah....my guess is that they’re the same people that want to tax Homeland Americans that same amount..... money is money and sheep are sheep.
LMAO. He must have recently made a great deal with Sum Ting Wong.
It’s Trump’s negotiating strategy: Big ask with the intention of getting something significant, but considerably less. I prefer Cruz, but this is just the GOPe enablers trying to help Jebbie and Marco.
Since China does not believe in free markets and holds wages down for their slave workers, tariffs are good. Get the cost up to true market rate.
But so many Trump supporters were all for a 45% tariff on Chinese imports when their candidate was for it. Are they against it now that Trump “never said” he would do it?
It’s up to 45% if the Chinese don’t behave themselves.
Tag line.
For all you Cruz supporters, he didn’t whine about it being just a media question designed to trip him up, and refuse to answer it.
I didn’t realize that was a presidential power.
The rest of the World puts a value added tax on home and imported goods. Hence we pay for their governments. The Libertarian free traders cry fowl whenever we put a tariff on imported goods. American workers and businesses have
to cover taxes and medical care in the goods sold home and abroad. A value added tariff would level the field.
During the main election, it won’t matter that much if Trump get’s caught contradicting himself a few times. Trump supporters will vote for Trump because of who he is, and what he stands for, in general. A large part of the electorate wants a president who is on our side, for a change.
Trump will never be handled with Alynski tactics: “To freeze and isolate them; make them live up to their rules, because they can’t.” Trump writes his own rules and moves the goal posts faster than they can create rules.
There is a distinct difference between would and should. There is also the art of the deal. Threaten to demand far more than you intend to get in the deal, you can always move toward reasonable, but if like the GOPe you offer your best deal you can only give in.
article states Trump said it WOULD be 45%........
Quotes Trump as saying it SHOULD be 45%...
If writers would state truth - there would be less bickering among freepers and people in general.
Seems they twist peoples words and meanings to keep us all at odds, or the writers are just plain lacking comprehension skills of what they are reading or hearing from the people they report on.
Trump is a negotiator. He’s boldly stating problems and starting dialog of solutions. No candidate can truly state what they will actually do, unless they plan to rule by EO like obama. Candidates know it will be their ideas, negotiated into a final outcome.
I see Trump as best of those running, at negotiating for the best possible outcome within the law on issues USA faces (as he has done in his business career), not caving or being cowardly on issues - until a bold person comes along to temporarily gain strength from as Cruz and Rubio and others have ALL shown in their work/political careers/votes. They lack true love of the USofA and truly abiding in her and her abilities. Trump seems to be schooling all the other candidates on what it means to love USA and stand FOR her and WITH her, even if it may be uncomfortable and at times standing alone. I see some candidates beginning to wake and realize they been asleep at the wheel and abdicating their leadership abilities afforded them by their elected positions. They allowed themselves to live watered down versions of American ideals and their positions in society, no use for that in any one who claims to love USofA and trying to gain hold the presidency.
I saw the interview, and didn’t see the inconsistency you do. He said he prefers they play by the same rules. Implying if they do not a tariff would be a likely possibility.
Plenty to bust on Trump about, but this isn’t it. Again, I saw the interview, did you?
OK 44
