A Queens gym teacher guilty of having sexual relations with two 16-year-old male students was sentenced to 10 years' probation Friday.
Joy Morsi, 40, a married mom of four, already completed a year of psychiatric counseling for the sex acts.
The ex-teacher had dyed her dark hair blonde for her appearance Friday. She fled Queens Criminal Court with her attorney immediately after her sentencing. Both declined to comment.
In January 2015, the Ridgewood teacher admitted to having sex with a 16-year-old Grover Cleveland High School student and exposing herself and performing a sex act on a second 16-year-old student, officials said.
At the time, Morsi's attorney said that she had a diagnosed "depressive disorder" and she was sentenced to one year of psychiatric counseling.
Morsi also had to register as a sex offender and give up her teaching license.

If a 40 year old man had been having sex with 2 teenage girls in his class, he would be thrown so far into the prison that he wouldn't see daylight anymore.
Very true. There is a double standard. Female offenders are treated differently.
And, apparently her excuse is that she has “depressive disorder”.
How is it that people can say they have some mental or emotional condition, and that excuses whatever they have done???

Where were all the sexually depraved female teachers when I was a teenager?
This lady is GUILTY and needs to serve some HARD TIME for destroying the future of those poor boys.

That’s because the law, in spite of political correctness which says we can’t acknowledge any difference between the sexes, recognizes that the damage done is different. We should be applauding that, rather than condemning it.

So true...here 10 years ago, a teacher had sex with her student, she got probation, then married the student. The same year, a teacher a sex with a student and he got 10 years in prison followed by 20 years of probation. It should be the same...
I’m guessing that when it is time for them to search the suspect — she gets good and searched.
