TED CRUZ: Trump will let illegals back into the country but I WON’T — [VIDEO]
The Right Scoop ^ | Jan 5, 2016 | The Right Scoop

Good find by BuzzFeed, where Ted Cruz tells a questioner that the difference between he and Trump on illegal immigration is that, while they both will deport illegals, Trump will let them back into the country and he will not:

The Texas senator, who is leading the field of Republican presidential candidates in Iowa according to the latest polls, was asked by a man in the state if, like Trump, he believed that all undocumented immigrants should be deported.

Cruz replied, "Absolutely yes."

"And in fact, look, there's a difference," said Cruz. "He's advocated allowing folks to come back in and become citizens. I oppose that."

Where does Trump say he will let illegals back in? I think he says, he will allow them to re-enter legally.

Cruz already has the rest of the field after him, he adds Trump to the mix and he goes down like Carson and the rest.

Trump’s own words. Many only hear what they want. Trump always tames downs from his original spontaneous combustion. He said he would send them home and let the good ones back in. How did you miss that?
And he went from banning all Muslims to temporary.
And on and on.
Get ready for it. A man with actual knowledge is about to take him down.

That’s fine.

A grudge match to see who can outdo the other guy in stopping illegal immigration?

I could not have not imagined a Happier New Year.

Trump/Cruz 2016.

Trump says we get rid of the illegals and they have to line up for citizenship. Cruz says they broke the law in the first place, they don't get a place in line.

Actually he says, “I oppose that.”

It is extremely cold outside today.

I oppose that.

Twisting Trump’s word is not a winning tactic. Trump will keep offenders out the best way he can. Trump is on the same page. Trump said he would temporarily ban Muslims to help the vetting process get fixed. Cruz not 100% on board.

One of the questions that would be asked is if you were ever deported from the united states

If they were, their request would get denied

Criminals can not come back already

Trump is being very smart and calculative with this, he knows that he could win the Hispanic vote, the legal Hispanic vote that is

Here’s another one.

Obama has governed as a radical leftist.

I oppose that.

Not even going to try and make sense out of that.

You're correct. Trump says he will let some of them back in by a process that follows the law. I'm not sure I agree that if they don't self-deport they should be allowed back in, but I'm okay with a process where they go home and apply from their homelands....get in line. This process will keep the criminals and derelicts out for good and allow deportation of anyone here illegally.

I'm confused by Cruz. It wasn't long ago he was advocating increasing H1B Visas five-fold.

Opposing something doesn’t mean you’ll do anything about it. It can be totally passive. Let’s say the GOPe used the dirtiest of all possible tricks in the Mississippi runoff to steal the election from Chris McDaniel and hand it to Capital Crony Cochran. Let’s say a Senator says, even as the theft is taking place, “I oppose that.” But he doesn’t lift a finger to change or stop anything. What good did his mental opposition do?
