FBI to Bundys: Let’s settle this standoff peaceably

And though the Bundys are involved in the Oregon occupation, the scene can hardly be described as a standoff. The 20 or so militants at the refuge come and go as they please. No police were apparent Sunday anywhere between Burns and the 30-mile drive to the refuge.

They are not aiding our cause. They are helping Obama.

The inside the beltway Republican Party Establishment supporters express their opinion here.

I don’t know if I agree with the tactics here. They weren’t my idea or in line with my thinking about disobedience of authorities.

I would not be discussing the Hammond’s case and the Republican Party Establishment supporting people who identify as ‘conservatives’ would not be discussing the Hammond’s case, talk radio would not be discussing the Hammond’s case unless the people did what they did in Oregon on Saturday.

We should perhaps thank the Bundy’s and the others out there for getting our attention about this matter with their actions.

The people who want to be critical of the situation in Oregon are not committed to the meaningful changing of anything for the better in this country anyway.

Their trashing of Trump, endorsement of RINO leaders like Paul Ryan and so on speak volumes as to their hearts leaning.

The location they have chosen is one that can easily be ignored, no harm done. The OWS and BLM “protestors” moved into places where they could not just be ignored ‘til they tired of the game and went home.

I would just ignore them, rather than doing a Branch Davidian or Ruby Ridge. Of course, I am sure the Despots in Gov’t will want to go for a Teachable Moment.

These folks will not be given the Occupy Wall Street treatment.

As long as they are essentially Civil Disobediancers, I say let 'em go.

It is interesting that they don't have to go to work like most makers, but the Winter may be a much slower time for ranchers and building occupations, etc.

While I don’t know exactly what this is all about, as long as they peacefully assemble to have their grievances heard, then all sides should avoid escalation and just talk.

This building isn’t a federal building so much as it is a glorified cabin. So no one is being pit out by them being there.

We also have to remember that these people aren’t concerning themselves with how we feel about this when it comes to a wider cause, and that we can’t just condemn them for not consulting us first.

I’m glad that they’re seeking a peaceful resolution.

The FBI is going to win the Public Relations (PR) war first, then “get” the white, right-wing Christian gun owners second...you know, because they illegally trespassed and seized a federal building in support of “convicted arsonists.”

Obama and the Brady’s must be as giddy about this setup as schoolgirls on prom night. “See: we made every effort to end this peacefully, but the *radicals* inside started shooting federal officers.”

It’s Act One of a slow-motion movie script called: Implementing Fascism

Act Two brings in the jackboots.

Well, I read earlier that on August 16, 2016, a number (400??) of ranchers will lose their water and/or grazing rights. I don’t know much about this to comment, as I am scouring for research/info.

Agenda 21/2030, mineral/precious metals/rare earths/uranium deposits-when coupled with the lifting of the ban on foreign real estate investing, indicate something big is afoot. Land and resources pledged against our debt, per Nixon in the early 70s? Just ahead of the end of 3rd Qtr EOY for the feds? TPP requirements?

The Bundys and the Hammonds appear to be just the most notorious of the BLM land grab efforts. For some posters, it’s just NIMBY.

As for the militia, they’ll likely take one for the team. I expect them to be shot. I also expect the Hammonds to come down with an incurable disease-the lot of them.

I know. I know. It’s pessimistic. But I put absolutely nothing past 0bama.

Besides, the fed sharpshooters are going to get awfully cold, lying prone in the snow in their white snow Ghillie suits.

My guess is they are more worried about their cause, than your cause. If think this corrupt, deceitful, and evil government can peacefully be reformed, you have not be paying attention the past 25 hears.

We are all in this together and I am on their side philosophically. I think they should not have brought weapons. If shooting start the lying bastards in the Federal forces will insist they started it. If you want to start a revolution, this is not the way to do it.

If this breaks out into a shooting, civil war, the conservatives Will win. But the cost in lives, horror and destruction would be unimaginable. This would not be a war BETWEEN the states. It would be a war WITHIN the states with each and every town, city, hamlet etc a battleground. I would not want that blood on my hands. All alternatives have not yet been exhausted.
