When we recently visited the NYC area, every one we talked to was for Trump.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he pulls off getting NY.

For Trump to win New York he has to win the suburban counties around New York City.... doable.

He can easily carry upstate New York. But those downstate counties will be the key.

I think he can...

He says he's going to be the best jobs President ever and I believe him on that, and New York, PA, and New Jersey are hard hit right now on the job market...

Obuma shut down the coal in PA and if Trump were to mention he would start up coal, all of PA would be for him...they love their coal...

Hillary is a ‘carpetbagger’ to New York and personally I don't think they liked her at all in as Senator from there and they don't like the trash and garbage they drag behind them every where they go...so I think Trump can take N.Y.

Trump would cross cross the NE and west coast, while VP Cruz goes through the south and great plains. They will both cover the Midwest.

The result: An early night.

The black vote will swing MORE THAN 5% for Trump

They are starting to think “we’ve been voting democrat for years, and we’re still poor”

The question isn’t could he win it but could he put it in play? Hillary’s entire inevitability argument hinges on NY and the rest of the usual suspects being in the bag. Throw even the slightest wrench in that machine and all bets are off.

The one legitimate point this article brings up is that the right candidate could capitalize on the anti-DeCommyo sentiment in NYC.

Thanks to Obama, times have changed and it is my belief that the NYcity street and working people love Trump and have good reason too. I think Trump is a hero of sorts for Black people and they get it.

I have been a fan of Dr. James Manning , a Harlem minister since Obama's election when Dr. Manning, using youtube and The Manning Report, taught me a new vocabulary when he called Obama a "big eared long legged Mac Daddy." I later learned that he was calling Obama out as a street hustler and a pimp.

He also has a long history of supporting Trump from years past and with this recent video: https://youtu.be/BUvRR67fUbc?t=8

With the Democrat Party in total disarray Trump’s, high profile in New York his 25% of Black support and 45% of Hispanic support his winning New York is almost inevitable. You could say the Republican party is fairly well dead as well. but Trump is the only Republican who does not need the Republican party to win anywhere. He will win in spite of them not because of them.

I see no way for the democrats to triumph if Trump carries New York state. Their path is closed. It will mean the GOP-E has failed to undercut him, and it will mean the media has been ineffective, not just in NY but around the entire country.

It’s probably why they are terrified of Trump.

If New York state is in play, it would also mean that there would be a lot of other blue states in play.

Something to consider.

Bears repeating from the article:

"And Trump is already very strong in Florida (the traditional bugaboo for the GOP these past couple of cycles) with a persistent lead over Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical match up. If you take New York and Florida off the table for Hillary, where is her path to victory?"

Go New York and Florida! Get out the Vote!

New York can elect Republicans - they elected Republican George Pataki as Governor three times in a row (’94-’06).

Trump is YUGE in New York for name recognition and reputation. He will likely make YUGE inroads into the Democrat base of Blacks, Hispanics, Jews and working class Catholics.

Ivanka is a practicing Jew, and her husband’s family (Kushners) are YUGE among the wealthy Jewish elite in the City. Israelis have shifted strongly against Obama, and US Jews have good reason to be concerned about massive muslim immigration. There are about a million Jews in the City - disproportionately likely to vote.

Upstate is in a widespread state of civil disobedience over the over-reaching SAFE Act gun restrictions of the current Democrat Governor - almost none are complying with the reporting/registration requirements.

No, and for many reasons, but foremostly because he doesn't need it. Just needs Ohio. This is Bush's '04 map redux - live it, learn it, love it - because this is what Trump is being told:
