As for Mr. Trump, Mr. Bush unloads. "The people following and covering the campaigns? The cable shows? They're obsessed with Trump, and all they care about is what effect this disparaging remark will have on the campaign-it's all about nothing. It changes with each week. He's Pavlov and they're the dog, basically. I've never seen anything quite like it.

Comeback implies he actually was somewhere
The fact that they are even talking about this shows that the GOPe and ‘rats haven’t given up on their boy - yet. Sigh...
:0) I had to laugh about that!
In a word, NO.
Come back from where? Zilchville?
How much is Jeb paying to keep his name in the news?
no
The GOPe haven’t given up on awarding Jeb the nomination at a Rove-Priebus-Chamber of Commerce brokered-convention.
Both the NY Times and Wall Street Journal were pimping “Jeb’s comeback” in yesterday’s editions so the marching orders are still in force.
‘Mommy, Donald is bein’ mean to me again. He’s more popular. Make him stop, Mommy. Make him play nice.’
from Jeb {without ! }
His handlers have spent a lot of time/effort/money - I predict they are suffering buyers’ remorse and hope they see the error of their ways....perhaps 4 years of Cruz or Trump will help them see the light.
Jeb thinks he’s a ball team?
Right to Rise paid Fox News $6 million in advertising to keep Jeb in the news and prop him up.
Pro-Jeb Bush super PAC drops $6 million on Fox News ads
The truth is Jeb was never a good campaigner. His runs for FL governor were as lackluster and awkward as what we see now. The difference is that then he was buoyed up as the son of a President and the brother of another both of whom were still popular. The Bush brand has tarnished substantially since then and Jeb’s always weak campaign skills, formerly helped by the Bush brand, are now fatally handicapped by it. No one wants what poor salesman Jeb is selling.
The Cheap Labor Express still expects the RNC to produce an amnesty candidate.
They’ve paid millions to prevent us from electing anyone who would stop them.
Yeb! seems confident that “something” is going to stop a guy who has 4-5 times the numbers in polls that he does
He’s either delusonal or he knows something we don’t
Maybe Jebbie and Barbara can go to Cleveland at the convention and announce a “hostile takeover” of the party to return it to its “moderate” roots, and the delegates will simply meekly comply. George F. Will can demand to be heard and make the case for Jebbie.
Excellent analysis.
Right now, Bill Cosby stands a better chance of making a comeback.
Jeb Bush has not become merely damaged goods, he is condemned to wander over scorched earth and probably radioactivity, less ready for prime time than even Richard Nixon in 1962.
At his “last” press conference in November of 1962, Nixon declared (”You won’t have Nixon to kick around any more.”)
History, of course, proved different.
A manufactured illusion of a ‘comeback’, choreographed by the media, Yes.
A real ‘comeback’ ignited and fueled by actual GOP voter passion? No.
The whispering Dr. Ben would make a comeback before Jeb! did.
Neither is going to happen on it’s own.
from a New York Times article about steps Jeb! will take to re-ignite (?) his campaign:
One is to
“WOO LINDSEY GRAHAM”
And that is a winning strategy how?
He may as well just pick his nose.
