Liberals Hate THIS! CRUZ To Volunteers: We Can Win ‘If We Awaken And Energize The Body Of Christ

He is unafraid and steadfast in his Christian beliefs and how they apply to the way America should be led…and it’s quite frankly, pissing Liberals off.

nra leadership forum

"If we awaken and energize the body of Christ- if Christians and people of faith come out and vote our values- we will win and we will turn the country around," Cruz told volunteers on a conference call Tuesday.

"We're working to have a lead pastor in each of the 99 counties in Iowa, 99 pastors are organizing other pastors," Cruz said. "We're doing the same thing in South Carolina, organizing pastors in 46 counties to motivate and organize other pastors."
Cruz warned that, as the election nears, the attacks on his campaign will become more vicious.

"I want to tell everyone to get ready, strap on the full armor of God, get ready for the attacks that are coming," he warned. "Come the month of January we ain't seen nothing yet."
Cruz predicts that the nomination will come by the end of the March and said that his campaign is now in a "90-day sprint to win this nomination."

"There is a very good possibility that the Republican primary will be decided by the end of March," he told them.

USA needs to reverse the course we’re on, stop the corrupt liberal-rot and return to our founding fathers plan for this country. THIS is what we know! Is Cruz the man to do it?

Nothing at all...just don’t be hypocritical and trash Cruz and not trash Trump for doing the same outreach to religious voters.

Boy, you are in fine form this morning. Perhaps one of these days you will find words to defend your candidate instead of insulting the other candidates and their supporters.

People should have some knowledge of the background Cruz comes from, the theology he has been raised in since he was a small child. Apparently, the theology he still clings to. This country when founded, made the first amendment Freedom of Religion (along with Freedom of Speech which you also seem to oppose.)

Reminds me of Obama fans who thought he was the 2nd coming. Both were 1st term senators who had done nothing but ‘lawyer’ in their lives and used tax $$ to run for office instead of doing the job they were elected to do. The big difference is we KNOW and can prove Cruz wasn’t born on US soil.

I'm not going to get into this debate however it did appear to me that Ted did a bit more then "out reach". Others with a similar view will be happy to get into the details with you.

These days I just try to just correct factually incorrect anti-Trump posts on Cruz threads.

"All fall short of the Glory of God."

You can quote Scripture in an attempt to deflect and dodge the issue all you want. But your pretense of sanctification rings hollow.

The bottom line is that you, a self-described Christian, prefer a sleaze who discussed premature ejaculation and Paris Hilton's sex tape with Howard Stern to lead the nation instead of a fellow Christian and Constitutional conservative.

So you might as well not try that empty posturing with me. Look in the mirror and tell it to your reflection...maybe it'll help you rationalize being snake-mesmerized by that progressive.

Don’t bring your leftist attack here and whine about insults.

You support a progressive candidate and you’re borrowing a progressive attack to try and smear the Christian conservative.

It’s futile, but I’ll call you out every time. Suck it up.

Read your post twice, and I am simply not clear on what you’re saying. If you have the time and inclination, could you paraphrase?

Thanks.

"Threads like this are helpful in separating the wheat from the chaff, sheep from goats. Very instructive, this thread has been."

Agree 100%. Everything I see lately emphatically confirms for me that shunning Trump and supporting Cruz are the right things to do.

I imagine quite a few lurkers are reaching that conclusion, too.

And yes...I believe Cruz and his family have put on the full armor of God and will withstand these attacks.

I’m gonna change the subject drastically with you because I enjoy your posts on the Walking Dead threads, and a Walking Dead analogy to the GOP primary has been percolating in my head for a few days.

To me, Trump is like Rick whereas Cruz is like Deanna.

Trump has been in and succeeded in the wilds of our brutal decadent culture without really succumbing to it. He has managed to thrive in it despite fighting PC, islamic terrorism, and illegal immigration.

Whereas Cruz has been sheltered in Texas, DC, and in law firms, largely seperate from that outside culture.

As Talking Dead fans, we all get exasperated with Deanna’s inability to work effectively against that outside culture and avoiding whatever it takes to subdue it. I get that same exasperation with Cruz and the brutal fight that confronts us.

It’s why we cheer Rick and Trump because they can operate and win within their ugly environments without closing their humanity.

A true Christian doesn't make Jesus serve him. A true Christian serves Jesus.

Good for you, you have it right.

I'm not willing to fight down in the muck and mire, but I do want to encourage you.

In this day and age, where Christianity is being maligned everywhere you look. Christians beheaded in the middle east, Christians referred to as bible clinging racists, A holocaust being perpetrated in Syria, Turkey, and Africa. Visas given to Islamists but not Christians...the list goes on. I am rather happy to hear both Trump and Cruz profess their Christian beliefs. Make no mistake, the war is against Christianity on a worldwide basis.

I will bear up without your approval. I shared my thoughts not to attack but to share. I have been on this site for many years and come to it often in these very disturbing times. I share links from here to a group of like minded souls every day.

I agree with all the positions you listed in your post vehemently. That doesn’t change the fact that I don’t like the way Cruz is mixing politics and religion. No problem with religion but I believe it is a personal and private force, fine to pray in public, fine to credit and to praise, but not really thinking it will unite the country to suggest that campaigning for Cruz is doing G**’s work and will succeed if we wake the Christ within us & others.

There is a vast difference of scale and it is the scale that’s being discussed not cherishing G*d and the bible.

In your post 78...
You were not correcting anything about Trump.
You were agreeing/saying that Cruz is pandering and is a narcissist...on a Cruz thread.

And that is what I did not agree with.
